Food was good to very good. The strangest thing in the first days, was the fact not all the products have been found to Palace comparing with Mare restaurant (for example the honeycombs).

Changing the room from Sol Mare to Sol Bay without being informed us. We noticed this at our arrival at the hotel while they moved from one reception to the other in order to get our room. Probably because of this modification, they offer us a room with a partially view to the sea and also gave access to Palace all facilities except the main pool.

Room was airy and pleasantly decorated. Cleaning service and food overall was ideal. The kids activities organized were also a nice surprise. The aqua park and sport fields were also great. The Gelateria was also a very nice amenity. The possibility of not attending the regular meals and eating near pools/playgrounds was very nice - but be warned! for pizza or wurst/pretzel at der Biergarden you have to wait for a long time (they use only 1-2 small ovens).

None of the running treadmills in the gym were working and most articles were scattered allover the place. The changing room and toilets of the indoor pool are really looking bad. A huge contrast to the rest of the resort. The sunbeds and umbrellas at the Debarcadero beach were in really bad shape - sunbeds were cleaned but visibly worn and had no cushioning while umbrellas were half rotten. All of the food was exceptional except Paninis. They are a bad joke - a thin slice of bacon between 2 slices of lettuce and bread - we know you cooks can do a lot better!

Great place for family vacation! Variety of pools, slides, amusements for kids and adults, night shows and kids disco. Also a private sandy beach at the resort. Plenty of foods, snacks, ice cream and drinks around the pools and beach. Our vacation was great, kids didn’t want to leave! Will return next year!

The big crowd at the restaurant and the rush of the staff to close all food stations immediately after the end time.

we upgraded to the Palace instead of Mare. its a 5 star hotel and not 4 stars. the staff was nice and polite. many activities for kids but with extra payment. the family room was spacious and comfortable

no air conditioning!!!! they don’t turn on the main system in early June despite the heat. it’s impossible to open the Windows because of the noise outside until the middle of the night. also, almost no vegan food options in any meal or any hotel restaurant. despite requests, no special effort was made.

Excellent water park, great swimming pools. Good location, private beach with sea taxi to nessebar old town. Rooms big and comfortable. Lots of entertainment for children

Food was OK- we didnt eat in the main restaurant in the evenings but had breakfast and snacks around the pool at lunch - great donuts! Pizza hot dogs and pretzels all good. Beer not great, cocktails ok

Maybe the best all-inclusive hotel at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. There are so many kiosks in the garden where you can eat various and delicious food like paella, panini, burgers, fish and chips, etc. The sandy beach is lovely, there are many pools and the aquapark is open for a long time (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon, which is longer then in other similar hotels).

The concept of the thematic Chinese restaurant is totally wrong. You have to choose all the ingredients what you have to cook for yourself and the waitresses have absolutely no idea how to do this and they cannot help. The result was a disaster: some ingredients were not cooked at all, while others were overcooked. The best thing what could have happened to it was throwing the pot away and we went to the main restaurant to have dinner.

The staff was friendly and spoke decent english to understand each other (the ones at the reception spoke very well). The room was clean and when we had an issue, they addressed it immediately. Beds were big and comfortable. Food was varied enough (pizza, pasta, fish, pork, chicken, beef, salads, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, breads, soups, specialties), but either a bit too spiced or not enough in my opinion. The complex is right next to the sea, with 3 access points. In the evening, after the pool activity dies down, they have various attractions for kids and the shows are quite entertaining.

The food is done in very large quantities, to handle the number of people, which has an effect on how much the cook can pay attention to the quality and seasoning. If you're unlucky and there are lots of waves, the sea shore get covered in algae, making it hard to enjoy, but the local municipality actualy tries to clean it up daily with machinery. They have daily sports competitions at the kids club that they give prizez for at the end of the day, but they take up most of the pool time for it...

There are 3 hotels in the Sol area - Mare is one of them. Our stay was really nice except food. The pool and slides were 1 min walk from the hotel. The pool was nice opened from 9 till 7. Slides (opened 9:30-12:30, 13:30-16) were great, especially rocky river and the blue once. Nice lifeguards watching guests safety. There were a lot of activities for adults and kids during the day including kids club and nice evening show started at 9:30 just after kids disco - different show every day. After closing the swimming pool your kid can take other activities in reasonable price (e.g. water cars for 4 leva). There were some places serving german food, fish and chips, ice cream and so on besides the main restaurant. The beach area was also nice with plenty of loungers and play ground. Our room was clean. Waiters did they job really great.

The food in the main restaurant was a little bit tasteless. There were small range of food for kids. The changing room after check out was dirty and awfull.

Sol hotels in Nessebar were fabulous experience! Situation of the hotel is one step to the beach. Fully equipped with swimming pools, aquapark, slides, karting, different entertainment and games all long. Food was fantastic, well prepared and various. The whole resort is full alternative restaurants and snack-bars, away from the main restaurant and meals. Italian and Chinese restaurant are available. Everything is clean and well maintained. Staff if professional, kind and knowledgeable! Special thanks to the managers who did a surprise for my son's birthday!

There is no such thing

We liked the location and facilities. They are specially designed for children activities and they love them.

People should pay attention when booking the chinese restaurant because, event if it should be a very nice experience, you have to cook your own food. If the child does not like it, you have no alternatives if there is too late and the regular dinner restaurant is closed. The location is also a little far from the old city but you have all the facilities there. I recommend taking the hotel cab when going to the old city, ask the driver for the phone number to call him to pick you back because the taxi drivers from the old city charges you more than double to get you back to the hotel.
