The hotel was clean and comfortable, easy to get to from the main road (to Belo Horizonte). We were on the top floor, too, which gave us some nice views.

The bed, both in size and the comfort of the mattress, was excellent. Additionally, the lighting, climate control, and overall furniture provided a good level of comfort. The acoustic insulation was good, benefiting from the serene surroundings and the hotel's strategic distance from the street. The implementation of split air conditioning, using modern technology, further enhanced this experience.
The value for money certainly leaves much to be desired. The towels provided were disappointingly thin and small, with only one face towel available. Toiletries were of subpar quality and in short supply – a single small bar of soap and a tiny tube of low-quality shampoo and conditioner. Despite being advertised, essential amenities like a hair dryer and ironing facilities were conspicuously absent from the room. The television lacked smart capabilities, and the image quality and selection of cable TV channels were reminiscent of the limited options we had in the late 90s. The furniture appeared to be merely functional, lacking modern conveniences like USB ports or conveniently located power outlets. Furthermore, the existing wall outlets didn't match the region's power voltage, operating at 220V instead of the expected 110V. With just two seating options – an armchair resembling a wingback or bergère and a basic secretary-style office chair – the room felt sparsely furnished. The shower was confined and minimally furnished, while the bathroom overall lacked the sophistication one would anticipate from an accommodation marketed as "superior." The internet speed and connection quality were also disappointing. I encountered challenges with my VPN due to IP address-blocking, a concerning issue that doesn't contribute to a secure environment for the guests. Finally, the price for frigobar itens were outrageously expensive for the quality and even size of the portions available. In particular the water.
