Austria Trend Hotel Doppio Wien

This was my second stay at this hotel in just a month and was the result of my satisfaction from my first stay. The value is exceptional: although the pricing was dictated by hotel's location which is off the city center - the accessibility to the hotel from the airport or from the hotel to the city center is very convenient. It all starts from Vienna International Airport - you have to take a S7 train which is usually every 15 minutes or so and you get off at St Marx station which is like 12 minutes ride usually, and then you walk like 350 meters to the hotel. You can off course choose to take a ride with Bolt and this will cost you 35 Euros with comfort car. But, I suggest you do it with the S7 train as you can buy a weekly ticket at the airport for Vienna and it includes any rides with any public transport within Vienna. Public transport as it is very accessible and convenient, clean and safe. All you need is a Google Maps and choose the Public Transport and you will get to any location within the city in minutes. So, from the hotel to the city center you can use tram 71 which also leaves from St Marx. (Borse direction) and in just 10 minutes you will find yourself at Karlsplatz station which is the city center. On your way back you can take the same tram 71 (Kaisersbersdorf direction). The trams are very 5 to 7 minutes. They run thru midnight and after that you have night lines. But even with Bolt comfort taxi it will cost you only 17 Euros to get to city center or back. At my first stay I was walking to the city center from the hotel and it usually takes 35 to 40 minutes but the walk is scenic as you pass many landmarks as Belvedere park and many more. The room service and housekeeping are excellent and friendly as you have a direct access to all the people who run the hotel . There is a bar operating in the hotel till 2:00 AM. There is Gym with Technogym Unica - very clean and neat. The closets are specious and the bathrooms are royal size and clean

There is no swimming pool. Few things that can get better is carpeted floor removal and adding Salmon to a breakfast menu. But you have Billa+ super close to hotel you can get anything you wish.

Breakfast was superb, ALL staff were even more superb - from reception to bar to restaurant to cleaning, wonderfully friendly and helpful. While the hotel does not initially seem to be in a "good" area - a little industrial - it proved to be incredibly convenient with transport stops literally on the doorstep. The area is actually super convenient, in a quiet location and just great overall.

Absolutely nothing - and it is seldom I have said that when traveling! This is not a 4 star upmarket hotel, but it really delivers in all respects.

The best hotel to stay in Vienna. From entering the hotel you are greeted with super friendly staff ready to help with everything you need. It was raining one day, and I borrowed an umbrella from the reception, and they were super happy to assist. Rooms are clean, spacious, and everything is super comfortable. I liked all the little notes made to feel you just like at home. The breakfast was delicious and there were varieties of different choices you can eat. Parking is superb for Vienna, and that brings this hotel one notch above all others. I highly recommend this hotel as it will be my home every time I come to Vienna.

The room was big enough for a couple looking for a place to sleep. It was very clean, the bathroom had all the necessary facilities and extra surprises (shower cap, cotton pads, trash bags), surprinsingly large for a hotel bathroom. The staff was very kind and helpful. I recommend for you to add the breakfast. It is diverse and for everyones tastes and preferences. I totally recommend this hotel.

The room was really tidy and clean and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel has a tram station nearby (5 min walking) that goes directly into the city center.

At the check-in, the receptionist that attended me was a bit unhelpful. I don’t know if she was new or it’s because I asked in English but I only got my room key without any additional information. I had to ask for everything (restaurant opening hours, parking situation, WiFi, etc). On the opposite side, I heard a German couple checking in and they got a lot more information without needing to ask. Parking situation is also something worth to mention since they have very limited spaces (I found the last one and it was a very tight space). Best is to have a second option in case they don’t have any more spaces (which are not that many). Keep in mind that it’s shared with other business so watch out where to park or your car could be towed away (that’s what their info said).

The staff were top notch. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Hotel parking was a plus. Location was near where our daughter went to see THE Harry concert while close to the city center where wife and I enjoyed a night out.

I would have given a 10/10 if not for the breakfast buffet. It bothered me that there were flies in the eating area. Also, this is a hotel. The staff in the buffet area should maybe , at least, understand another language.

I booked a room for 3 and it was really big. It cool that it is like two rooms and you feel very private. Soft Drinks with no extra charge is super cool. Loved it. Location is super. You cna reach nice places in Vienna even by foot. Tram station is 5 minute for the hotel and it takes only around 15 minutes to Opera. Big parking outside of the hotel for modest 5 EUR per day. Breakfast is included and it is fine.

The hotel is located in a noisy industrial area, but close to a tram stop - a direct line to the center. The room was quiet. The beds are too soft, although clean and comfortable. The room has a kettle, coffee, tea and coffee cream, two white towels per guest, cozy lighting and enough space. The bathroom is good and has everything you need.

Breakfast is average in variety. There were long black hairs on the towels in the bathroom (I am blonde). The towel dryer did not work, so it was impossible to dry towels (or clothes after a sweaty long walk in the summer). For this price it could be better.

Room comfortable, clean, well equipped, very quiet (in spite of main roads nearby). Staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent with good variety. Short walk to Mozart's grave in lovely old graveyard. Globe theatre adjacent. Short tram ride into city centre, regular service with tram stop virtually in front of hotel. Direct bus to Prater, stop behind hotel.

The surroundings are rather bleak but it felt quite safe to walk around at night.

A hotel at a good price, relatively close to the city center, 40 minutes walk or tram 71 in 10-15 minutes - Opera zone. There is a station nearby. Parking is 5 euros / day, large parking. The room and bathroom are modern, you have everything you need and it is very clean. I will choose the same hotel for my next visit to Vienna.

The hotel is surrounded by car dealerships and offices. The amount of money for all nights is blocked as a guarantee 3 days before arrival.
