Cozy place and near the bus stop, so getting public transportation was not difficult. The staff were rather nice in total. But I found the female staff to be really friendly and nice. It made me and mother feel more at home, (especially as two women travelling to the country for the first time) So a special mention to the older lady staff who was so sweet and the yonger lady with the ponytail who was so kind and helpful all the time. We enjoyed the breakfast. There was a good selection. The room were clean and pretty. Had all the basic facilities. We could also leave the luggage there after checkout.

I think room service EVERY day is a little excessive, I found that I kind of felt I had to be out of my room in the morning to allow it to be cleaned. Instead of having a relaxed or wake up a little later, it felt pressured. To no fault of the staff, I had a nightmare evening on my last day (Friday). There were so many other occupants screaming and being very loud in the evening. Also children running up and down the corridor, also knocking on doors.It started from about 22:00 and ran through well past midnight, having a early flight the next morning made it a awful last night.

Loved this family-run guest house. Had the quaint, authentic feel we were looking for. Just wish I had read the fine print about stair access. We brought a ton of luggage and I didn't realize til we arrived. Also, I booked 3 rooms at the same time and didn't specify we would like them together, kind of thought that would happen automatically. So the only issues are my own fault. They have a cute game room and bike rentals, super friendly, pretty close to town and on the bus route. It was great for our group of 9.

Just what I mentioned already.

This was a charming traditional place to stay that met the needs of my family very well! There were separate single beds for each girl (a definite win!). It has that cozy home feel to it, and definitely made you feel like you were in Austria. The bus to center center was DIRECTLY in front of the hotel, and it was a quick 10 minutes to the Old Town. I would absolutely stay here again!

The only unusual thing was that the lobby closes down at 10 pm, like lights off, door locked. You can still enter through the back door later, but if you were checking in, I suggest not being late! I'm sure there is a solution, but I don't know what. Also, the bathrooms are a bit dated, but functional and clean with nice hot water.

The hotel is in a neighborhood with a grocery store, shops, a bank and a few restaurants, including a take away place just a 3 minute walk away. The hotel staff was nice and took the time to explain the public transit options, as well as sightseeing recommendations (in English). There is a public bus stop just outside the door of the hotel which takes you to the city center, and back again, every 10 minutes until quite late. Transit passes are sold at the hotel desk. The breakfast and coffee at the hotel was pricey but good, and there is a hang-out space in the main lobby area, where we enjoyed our take away pizza and played cards. The hotel staff was nice to my kids and warmed up food for them in the hotel microwave. There is ample free parking too. Truly a "home-tel!"

The receptionist was very very kind and friendly, the room was nice, the building is lovely with an old facade very typical. We didn't book with breakfast, but we found restaurants and supermarket really close. The Hotel is a little bit "far" from the city centre, but walking there is just 25 min, nice starting walk to discover Salzburg Plus+ there is a bus directly from the airport and leave you there in just 20 min or so. (number 10 if I'm not wrong)

There was a smoke cigarette smell in the toilet (provably from the previous tenants) but nothing serious

Basic but surprisingly nice breakfast for reasonable money. Despite this building is very old all facilities and hotel room were clean and in very good condition. Funny old parket floors producing sounds with every step.

No elevator, water/heating communications producing some “music” but not too disturbing, no air conditioning in our room. We stayed here in December and I was forced to open my window during the night as it was too hot and no fresh air in the room. As for me this hotel has not the best location - no or very limited options to have a breakfast or dinner in surrounding area. You need to wait for public transport to reach City Center (it will take about 15 min).

Location is very very good. Trolleybuses ( no. 4 and 10) have the stop just in front of the hotel. One goes straight to the airport and both transfer the center of the city. Room was extremly clean and we had something like small river under the room window. We could leave our lugage before the room has been finished to go in, and as well after the time we left hotel last day. City center is only 15 min far by trolley.

The ac in the room turns of automatically after I while. So whit 32 degrees outside in the day. The room Is really hot so almost no sleep for the second time of our trip in a row. This way of saving electricity is not the way to go you wake up soaking wet in the middle of the night cause the ac doesn't stay on long enough to cool down the walls and roof. So i am tired and pist of cause everthing else is great.

Very friendly staff and a gorgeous building in front of lovely mountains. The hotel is in a nice location as while it is near the edge of the city there are direct bus routes which stop right outside, and an S-Bahn (train) station five minutes walk away which connects with Salzburg Hbf. It felt very Austrian and very cosy, and I will definitely return when I next visit Salzburg.

The WiFi was very intermittent and I found myself hotspotting from my phone whenever I needed fo use the internet on my laptop.
