Broadwater Resort WA Tourism Awards 2022 Gold Winner

Our room was in a great spot and was exactly all we needed. Close to the pool, BBQ's and the reception and the beach was only a couple minutes walk. Bed was comfy and bathrooms very spacious. The onsite restaurant was also great and you could order food for the room or by the pool easily though you had to collect yourself which wasn't an issue for us.

The loft rooms were very hot upstairs as there is no aircon. We stayed on a super hot weekend and even though there was a ceiling fan and large tripod fan, the room was not cooled by the aircon downstairs at all. The restaurant choices could have been a little more pubby for Resort stayers.

Pool was amazing. My daughter could have lived in there the whole vacation. The rooms were awesome, clean and had everything we needed to stay comfortable. The location is simply stunning and all staff we spoke to were friendly and approachable.

The whole trip was thoroughly enjoyed and little more could be done by the resort to make the trip better. My only recommendation would be to possibly bring prices down slightly or have some kind of family vacation deals or something. Only because times are tough, and it would mean the resort would be fully booked all school holidays, I'm sure of it!

We had such a fantastic little staycation, we are already looking to re-book in the summer. The staff were all lovely especially the cleaners, happy and really friendly. The pool was so clean and my girls loved it, the restaurant had a lovely warm welcoming feel to it. Honestly I couldn’t fault it. I would say my favourite thing is that the cars are all in the car park and out of the way so my girls could scoot about and I didn’t have to worry about them.

The bathrooms were a bit old but honestly that wouldn’t stop us from going back. The showers all worked lovely so it will really wasn’t a problem. It would also be nice if there was a park for the kids to play in within the site.

I like the privacy that each ‘villa’ offers, I have stayed here previously and have always enjoyed my stay, beds are comfortable, nice bathrooms and comfy living area. As I travel for work I don’t have time to take advantage of the facilities such as the lovely pool but the beach walks are amazing and only a minute walk from the resort

This is just me and probably not an issue for most. I’m hyper sensitive to strong smells (feels like my airways have bleached poured over them) and the chemical cleaning smell is quite strong for me but they do try to reduce it for me prior to my stay which I have noticed does make a difference to my comfort levels.

The outside facilities for kids were good. The pools were great and clean and the games room was a nice surprise. Having a decent amount of nice pool chairs in good condition was also great!

The only thing we found disappointing was the restaurant. The dinner options were limited and quite expensive. It was also very busy and some food options had run out. The restaurant setting is actually really pretty but a shame about the food. A few more options around the $25-35 mark would be good to see. Maybe some salads with grilled chicken or some pasta dishes for adults.

The room was spacious and clean, located directly opposite the pool...The staff were amazing and the beer garden had great food, great atmosphere with live music!

There was no full length mirror in our room...The only mirror we had was in the bathroom and I found it a little too high for me...There was no bench space what so ever in the bathroom to put personal items. There was not enough pool chairs, so I could not utilize the pool as much as I wanted to. Although we had the room directly opposite the pool which I loved, we were woken up every morning at 8.00am when pool hours opened....After a late night you dont mind a little sleep in but this was not possible.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa right in front of the beach access, the location was exceptional and we had the pub next door so everything was accessible. The price for each night was probably over priced and the room didn’t have anywhere to dry washing ( which was supposed to have a clothes rack ) but otherwise was a great little getaway. The pool was just outside the front door and was amazing! Food at tonic by the bay was delicious. Definitely would recommend book again.

The two pools (one inside and one outside) were excellent.. The food was good, but the menu limited. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This resort is starting to show its age. Nothing major but for what we paid for our five night stay we didn't expect taps that didn'rt turn off properly, towel rails coming adrift from the wall and brick paving in need of a reset. As I say, nothing major but these little things took the shine off our visit.

Beautiful location, very close to the bed. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautifully maintained and very resort like. The bed was very comfortable. Television reception fine and internet provided for free.

Nothing. Everything was terrific. We have stayed before and love returning. It was very quiet.

The pools were great, close to beach, supermarket close, pub with beautiful setting on property. Spacious apartment. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Lovely spacious bathroom.

The apartment was sparsely decorated, it had so much potential to be fantastic but furnishings let it down. The table under tv was the smallest skinniest tv table I’ve ever seen, the art work in the large wall of living area was minuscule it looked out of place.
