John Pirie Motor Inn

The beds were super comfortable which was great after a 2 day drive from Queensland. The pool was clean and tidy and had a BBQ inside the pool gates so we could cook lunch while watching the kids. This hotel is close to town so everything you need is only minutes away. The dinning area looked amazing but we did come at Christmas time so they were not cooking during our stay. Our room was a bit out dated but we honestly didn't mind we have kids so it's best to not have super new rooms. They do have new looking rooms at the back of the facility. They provide you a complimentary mini bar with wine,chips , chocolates and waters which was nice. We also had a pretty stocked fridge with milk. The kids loved the spa bath which helped getting them ready for bed. We had an issue with our fire alarm but management got it sorted quickly nothing was to hard for them they were always happy to help and were always so lovely. We were in Port pirie visiting family and we will book again on our next visit to Port pirie.

Stayed in a standard spa room - had sliding doors in the bathroom that lead out to a private little court yard. The big king bed was so comfortable... Best sleep in a long time. The little one enjoyed the pool, while I sat under the shaded bbq area ( was a little cold in the pool for me 😁). Was lovely and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There was a toaster in the room - but no cutlery or plate. Not complaining... Just mentioning it. The staff at the front desk were happy to give us some when we asked 😊

Clean, and convenient. My work colleague in the room next door was super thrilled about the complementary snacks. (She took the ones from my room as well as hers). I am more of a "need a desk to work at" person and I was very happy about the good desk space.

I am a working professional and was disappointed that there was no powerpoint next to my bed! I had to move the bed to get at the powerpoint under the bedhead. Sorry about that, cleaners, as I left in a rush and didn't put it back how I found it.

The location was great, as was the pool. The room was very clean and tidy. The welcome goodies were a nice surprise too. Extremely happy with our choice of accomodation.

Nothing reall negative, just a couple of minor things. We had a 3 bed room but only enough cups and utensils for 2 people. The rubbish bin was way too small and our shower head dripped once turned off. Very minor things that didn’t really affect our stay too much.

There where people at pool area from 8:00pm till at least 2:00 am very rowdy, swearing (load), drunk & a fight broke out , between some being a punch up that woke my wife up , she was very upset that it disturbed her sleep . I am a very heavy sleeper but she is a light sleeper, it was annoying we tried calling office @ 9:30pm to report to no avail, but we did enjoy the stay it was so romantic candle light dinner & of course a lovely spa 😘

The room was bigger than expected and the bathroom was really big, I didn't realise it included a spa. I didn't use it, because I don't like baths, but if you like them, it was a big, roomy spa. There was also complimentary wine, water and snacks and a few decent sized tetra packs of milk for making coffee or tea. The staff were friendly. The pool area looked great, was unfortunately a little too cold for us to use.

I loved the complimentary nibbles and wine, this was a lovely addition and very much appreciated after a busy day. the pool looked nice too, but we ran out of time to jump in.

The only disappointment was when I asked about the restaurant "Angus & Co" and when it opened, I was not advised that we needed to book. When we arrived there at approx. 6:15 pm and it was fully booked and couldn't get in until 7:30pm so we ended up going elsewhere.

The size of the room was perfect for what we seen online. Big fan of the spa bath my partner and I especially loved the size an depth of it as with us in there there was plenty of room to move comfortably still, jets were amazing with amount of pressure supplied. Was very orgasmic an relaxing. Satisfaction was a definite success for us for.. about 4 hours..😁

The room is clean and spacious. Toilet is nice and clean. Really good wifi connection. I was able to catch up with my office work. The complimentary water, wine and nibbles made our day! Not many accommodations have them anymore.

We couldn't change the heater setting past 26 degrees. It was really cold the night we stayed there.

Friendly staff, clean room, free snacks and bottled water was a nice touch. Very well maintained property.

We couldn't get the tv to work. As we discovered it didn’t work after reception had closed we had no tv for the night. There was no information on how to operate tv to get available country television channels.
