great staff, great facilities (pool, restaurant etc) beds are comfy and air con in each room has always been on when we check in which is a nice touch.

the rooms are getting a little tired. this is our 3rd year staying in a row, it’s not overly cheap and on our arrival the towel rail fell off the wall, the aircon remote is loosely fixed and the security latch on the front door is missing. Doesn’t have smart TV’s (every single other Motel we’ve stayed at does across QLD & NSW.) only minor things and we love staying here. but it might be time to look at some minor refurbs to keep the rooms in good condition.

The staff were always so friendly and wonderful. Room service was always served hot and delicious. The cafe was open at a great time for breakfast and the food delicious. The staff were again, fantastic. Steak is cooked perfectly, chips are crunchy and salty, the Explorers Burger tasted like homemade patty and so juicy and delicious, vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked. Loved that the room was cooled before I arrived, and it's always wonderfully quiet. No lights from outside shine into the room either, which is perfect because I'm a light sleeper. I LOVE buscuits with the tea and coffee station!

Nothing really. The tiniest little issue was that room 413 doesn't have a phone, but that isn't really a problem and I understand that room just had some wiring issues that were being worked on. The no-phone was overcome by just calling reception from my own mobile, so it's like, not even an issue.

Really nice accommodation with good facilities, close to town and well positioned. The staff are friendly and the property in general is just pleasant.

I realise it was the Christmas period but the bar and restaurant were closed on both of my stays, and despite being told room service was available, when I tried to order no one answered the phone. This is the only issue I had, the rest of the stay was wonderful.

We stay here every time we go through Roma. Staff are great, lovely restaurant, rooms are always clean & well priced. It was great to able to have our little dogs at the venue, made travelling so much easier. They are very helpful when travelling with trailers, etc. They even delivered our kids desert back to the room with their little cart, kids thought it was great.

We can not fault the accommodation, restaurant, staff or service. We have had a great experience every time, There is never a problem with kids, pets or oversized vehicles. They cater to all kinds of requirements & requests.

The rooms are quaint but very very clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed an afternoon drink outside our room overlooking the pool and garden area. While the hotel is on the main road, all of the rooms are at the back and therefore there was no road noise ++++ Although, the most outstanding feature was the restaurant. My goodness, the best meal 'soup of the day' I have eaten since I visited in the silver service Grand Canyon restaurant. Great staff all round. I will be going there again.

There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel. Highly recommend.

Beautiful clean and spacious rooms. Perfect for our family. Room service was a plus so we didn’t have to worry about taking the kids out after a long day of driving. Hands down the staff were absolutely brilliant, everyone was so happy, positive and welcoming. Especially the young guy at reception, what an actual asset! Beyond helpful! Have stayed here a couple times and has always been great! Will continue to come back and recommend.

Nothing, everything was perfect for us

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. No noise from other rooms or the road. Yard and pool area at the back of the room gave a relaxed open feel. Room had a nice array of teas/ coffee/ hot chocolate and was supplied with a bottled water each day. Well maintained complex. When there was an issue with the air conditioner in our room, we were immediately moved to another room without any problem. Enjoyable dinner.

When restocking the water and shower products each day, staff need to be aware of the number of guests staying in the room. When asking for more to cover the guests there was never any issue.

Clean Able to cater for a big family

No SINK??? As a family we used a lot of dishes… No where to refill our Jug besides the bathroom sink which barely fit under. Also the table was wobbly in our family room. (19) Was tiny and we all had to fit around the other tables to eat Breakfast from Room Service lol

The staff were great as was the location and a special mention to the restaurant staff who gave excellent service on both nights we attended and the food was excellent. We enjoyed our walks around Roma exploring the history.

The early morning strat up of Santos trucks on both sides of our room and the workers sitting outside their rooms smoking and talking loudly. Because of the smoking we were unable to open our front door. Suggest that a smoking area is designated outside the cleaners rooms. The microwave/oven was not operable and the bathroom exhaust fan was noisy.

Lovely and clean.

Everything was great except I didn’t realise the well stocked mini bar was complimentary. Only consumed one small bottle of wine as wasn’t sure how much it would be. There may have been a sign that I missed, if so maybe should be placed on the fridge.
