Motel 98

My recent stay at this hotel proved to be an exceptional experience. The comfort and serenity provided by this establishment were truly outstanding.Very peaceful ambiance, allowing for a restful night's sleep. One aspect that truly stood out during my stay was the cleanliness of the hotel. Every corner was immaculate, and the attention to detail in maintaining a pristine environment was evident. It was refreshing to see such high standards upheld. Additionally, I must commend the staff for their unwavering support and friendliness throughout my stay. From the moment I checked in, they went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Their willingness to assist with any request and their genuine warmth only added to the overall pleasant experience. Big Thanks goes to the honorable owner and his lovely family :)

I liked the ability to leave my room and go out in to a grassed courtyard area around the pool. We as a family were able meet at the large table and have breakfast together. So much better than having concrete and tiles everywhere. All of the Staff from room maintenance to restaurant were so friendly, helpful, and efficient.

A little more shade over the tables would have been nice. The reason I gave a 3/4 for quiet room was because of the building noise next door. That was out of your control.

Very convenient location near the Pilbeam Theatre and within walking distance. Bar out the front with food and drinks. Great location to a lot of eateries if interested. Parking on site which was great. Very comfy bed and lovely facilities with everything I needed for a great stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Whole booking in process was super easy. For the walk back from the theatre that night I felt safe as there was a lot of other people around and also at the bars and eateries along the way. Wasn't too far a walk by myself.

Floor in bathroom had dirt/dust in the corners but part from this was clean. I was in a room up top right around the corner and felt a bit uncomfortable walking there alone, being a female walking by myself. There is cameras but I thought that anyone could be hiding there without knowing. Parking is a bit squishy. Would be good to have the parking spaces a little wider to fit bigger vehicles in. My car wasn't big, but I was parked next to two big vehicles which took up a lot of room.

Maintenance of rooms was lacking in regards to electrical power points some didn’t work and others needed fixing. Room needed toaster Pool was not cleaned regularly during quiet season barbecue was old and you couldn’t use it needed more outdoor furniture Tea and coffee box was broken Laundry was very old and not maintained washing machine was not cleaned after use. bathrooms were small No fan in bathroom

The Staff were extra friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Service on a busy night was timely and the meal was delicious. Location is 5 star, with riverside walks available, centrally located for restaurants and eating houses and an easy walk to shopping on a business' day

The room balcony could be a little tidier and as such would be a great asset.

Motel 98 was close to shopping centre,Restuarant ,cafe . Also has there own Restaurants as well with great food. King size bed was so comfortable was nice after hard day work . staff where really great .

My only complaint was very small rectangular sink that look like a big white building brick very ugly in the bathroom was very small couldn’t really use it without getting water all over the floor and would like to see a fan extracted in there as it gets very steamy in bathroom . also think that that there could be extra shelf for Micowave to sit on to give more bench area for boil kettle for making cup of coffee or tea .

Well maintained rooms have a great outlook over the pool/garden area which forms the centerpiece of the Motel. Gardens and pool area also well maintained as are the rooms. Definite value for money. The restaurant is exceptional. Great food and cocktails! Free parking plus lots of on-road parking if required.

Good bed, facilities, and clean. Our room was at first difficult to find, but verry comfortable.

Have stayed here few times now and am never disappointed. A BIG THANK YOU to Grace for sorting out my room and to Andy and Lyn, my room wasn't quiet ready, they worked wonders to have to ready for me thank you and thanks Andy for helping me with my luggage. The beds in your motel are by far the best I have come across in a motel, I travel around alot for work, bit always sleep amazing in your rooms. Definitely recommend staying here!
