Miners Lodge Motor Inn

This would have to be the cleanest accommodation I’ve stayed in for years! Thank you! Recently renovated so nice new tiled floor, freshly painted walls, new A/C, new bathroom and beautifully made bed with lovely coverlet. It seems a lot of accomodation these days are so out dated, crusty and dirty. This was a breath of fresh air to walk into.

The only flaw was the cutlery provided was missing a fork and the mugs were not properly cleaned. Everything else was updated and new…the cutlery and crockery was the odd thing out. Bed could have been a bit softer. Otherwise, great stay and I’ll definitely go back.

The Hsuband and wife who run the Inn were great. They were very accommodating and were there when we needed assistance. Very happy with the staff there overall. Great location

I honestly can't say there was anything I didn't like. Happy with it overall again nothing to complain about.

requested ground floor unit, it was communicated back to me promptly that it had been arranged. i was running late for check in, called reception, arranged after hours access for my stay, very appreciated the flexibility after an 8 hour drive.

There was a mix up with our booking and the room had not been prepared when we arrived (no sheets/linen on beds etc). The lady on reception was very kind and apologetic and offered us a partial refund.

The rooms were of excellent quality. Ive stayed at the at many big name hotels from australia to dubai to the US (up to $700+ per night) and surprisingly, this place, hidden away in Mackay, seemed to have spent more on the rooms (tiles, bathroom) and the room i stayed in had a pretty huge bathroom given what I paid for for that room. Also the manager was pretty accommodating and booked a place very last minute. I checked in quite late, BUT was greeted with a warm smile. Thank you.

Location of microwave in relation to moving hot food to the bench top. Satisfactory solution resolved issue.

The staff were wonderful people very helpful respectful and have a good nature and make you feel comfortable where you are and also respect your privacy

Dreams need to be screw stuff a bit the owner should take into consideration but there's not a lot of places in Mackay that have two bedroom units for rent overnight in hotels there lovely but just need to spruce up

Staff was excellent and the rooms exceeded my expectations, great food and the pool crystal clear. will be going back again

tv didn’t work and staff didn’t answer the phone to be able to get any help. most PowerPoints were not working and the aircon was broken and the power point it was connected to was fried.
