Cairns Reef Apartments & Motel

The 2 bedroom was apartment was pretty spacious.

The bathrooms were not very clean. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped for self contained. The a/c kept turning themselves off. Couldn't use the bedroom a/c when lounge a/c was on. Apparently they are sensored?? Couldn't access balcony through lounge, door was locked and no key would open.had to use main bedroom to access. When mentioned all this to reception response was "oh!".

The beds are comfortable and clean. Having so much space and separate bathrooms is great. The unit is set up to live in so most facilities you have at home are here. There is a pool and vending machine and a security door for tenants to get in.

The apartment is aged and all needs a real good spring clean and some maintenance done. The microwave was too rusty to use and the ceiling above the shower leaked. Lounge smells and shower and floors not cleaned well.

Clean, quiet, spacious with very helpful staff, but location disappointing - long wait and , later, no show for taxi which cost $44 from airport. Also, without car no chance to access any food after late arrival. This place would be ideal for family or 2 couples, but we had not done enough research on location. We wish it well.

Convenient location and very friendly guest and staff. Undercover secure parking.

Not enough positions for secure parking and cars outside not parked in their lines properly. Need extra blankets in rooms, for rare occasions where it was 'cold' like this time. Even locals complained it was cold.

Large comfortable apartment , comfortable bed. Good kitchen facilities. Good having washing machine and dryer.

Only problem was they were laying mulch in and around the garden beds and there was a very very strong fertiliser smell for our entire stay. As soon as ya walked out of the apartment the smell hit . Very strong around the pool area. So didn't use pool as result , shower in the bath tub made having a shower very very slippery /dangerous, no rails to grab on. Web sites advertises room has a mini bar but there was none.

I liked that the 6 of us could fit into an apartment also the price for the week, they could accommodate to our needs when we needed extra days. Wifi was perfect especially for my teenagers and also a tennis court and basketball hoop that my husbands and children utilised almost daily.

Secured, undercover parking and walk ways during rainy periods appreciated. Lovely pool. Clean. Well appointed kitchen and internal laundry. Very beautiful gardens creating a very pleasant tropical atmosphere. Great for our little family of 4. Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Despite being in a lovely and secured quiet area, you need to take a short drive into the city centre or shopping centres. Not many places nearby to walk to.

undercover parking / lock up

when it says “pay at property” it means pay when I arrive. Do not try & access my credit card details more than 3 times before I get there as I had to go & see the bank cause I had all theses alerts notify me.

The pool was beautifully clean The staff very helpful and bent over backwards to assist me with a couple things not happy with Very happy with bed and shower when they fixed it Was worth asking them to fix them Thank you Has a microwave

The bed till they changed mattress The shower till they fixed them absolutely wrapped (about the best I've had anywhere in the world) The toilet roll holder yes after they fixed it WiFi a little hit miss

Maybe with the leaves in the pool, be hard to maintain but overall trees are a great way of keeping the shades. Car parks, had to park out by the road.

Location was good, pool was refreshing. Staff flexibility with work time as I checked in around 6:30pm. My room was spacious, great set up.
