Bundaberg Spanish Motor Inn

It is close to all the shops. we enjoyed that it was one street back from the main road which made a huge difference in feeling safe and more much more restful. We loved the gardens and the pool area and got use out of them each day. We were there for 10 nights and had a comfortable stay with our toddler. The staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast was good too.

The only thing I would ask for is a chain latch on the door as my runaway toddler could open the door easily. This would make it a little less stressful having that feature for families.

The hosts are very personable and helpful we had a Perfect stay. Rooms are wonderful. Great decor. We stayed in a executive Queen room which had a kitchenette. The lush grounds of the motel are well kept and the pool is stunning and equipped with a bbq area. Lovely big parking space in front of rooms. There is a laundry available for guests to use free of charge and laundry powder is provided free to use. Kimberley, Mario and Anthony have thought of everything to make your stay pleasant and comfortable . If you're traveling to Bundaberg, do yourself a favour and stay at the Bundaberg Spanish Motor Inn. Highly recommend.

There is nothing to dislike. Everthing is perfect.

We ordered breakfast both mornings we stayed. Plenty of food and exception value for money. The room had a kitchenette which had every thing we could wish for, especially good sized coffee mugs. We parked right outside our room and we couldn't hear our neighbours at all. It was a really quite location. The only noise we heard was the rescue chopper flying overhead once and you can't complain at all about that. The staff was all very lovely and as helpful as they could be. There was quite a variety of different eating options within a fairly short walking distance.

Only the fact we had to go home.

Could not fault this motor inn. The only motel, so far, after several stays in various motels across Queensland, which had a microwave, toaster and kettle. Also dishes and cutlery. The motor inn appeared to have been recently renovated and was spotlessly clean and the large bed extremely comfortable. Also the best and most reliable wifi we have encountered on our travels. Well done to the proprietors on all aspects.

Nothing to dislike.

This is a great motel. Rooms are not huge , but all you need for a few days stay, and the bed was really good. Staff were helpful and friendly but not intrusive . Grounds are very well kept, pool is immaculate and there is shaded BBQ facilities and tables and seats .

It may not be possible but it would be great if some sort of shade could be added to the parking bays. Parking is outside each room but roof only covered half the car, so it got pretty hot.

The room was excellent. Clean and quiet. There was a fridge, electric kettle, toaster and microwave. Adequate crockery and cutlery. The bed was comfortable. TV was a reasonable size. Staff were friendly and we were even provided with complimentary milk on arrival which is very unusual these days. Have stayed there before and will definitely book again.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

Nice motel in quiet area of Town. Nice Pool, laundry facilities, BBQ, all you need for one or two nights in Bundaberg. Very nice and friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but a good and clean motel. Would stay again if travelling via Bundaberg. If you arrive after reception hours you can collect the room key via a lock box. Convenient. Communication was very easy.

Bathroom was a bit outdated, but still okay.

We stayed for almost three weeks and have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities. Our room was large and well equipped. Superbly clean when we arrived and the staff and owners were great in keeping it clean and stocked when we needed it. The pool and barbeque were great and the laundry was spotless, free and readily available. It is well located just out of the CBD and an easy walk from the shops and lots of coffe shops and take aways. The gardens surrounding the pool were also lovely and well maintained

We had a great stay, the biggest problem we had was that the swimming pool automatic cleaner was sometimes doing its thing when we used the pool. Not really a problem at all and a couple of times the owners offered to turn it off for us. We always said no. Nice pool and always clean.

Breakfast was basic but tasty apart from the coffee which was bitter and tasted burnt. location suited our needs but motel is advertised as the quite motel and I could hear a bit of traffic noise.

My biggest complaint was the guests in the room next door, room 15 who were very loud and on two occasions sat outside our room and had long loud and crass phone conversations. Not the motel's fault I know, but made us uncomfortable.

Friendly staff. Big clean swimming pool at the motel was our sanctuary during the daytime of our 3-night stay in 35 degree celsius heatwave condition. Reception also sells huge home-grown super sweet and juicy Bowen mangoes for $2. What a treat during our stay there.
