Ridge Apartment Hotel

The location was perfect. 15 minute walk to the main bus station, 7 minutes to the central train station and 10 minutes to the ferry terminal. Convenience stores close by. There are some steep hills which are a mission with suitcases but at only a short distance from the train station, it wasn't much of a big deal. The room was a great base with everything needed including a washing machine in the bathroom with 2 sachets of washing powder. Bed comfy. Staff were lovely and very helpful.

The bed in Room 52 was falling apart. Not uncomfortable but looked terrible when sutting in the couch

Location was ideal for our needs there were ample shops and restaurants near by.

The doonas on the single bed one was stained , looked like blood spots, both were old and though not dirty looked like they were. Need replacing or at least a good soaking . Inadequate towels we requested more from reception but it would have been nice to have had spares in the wardrobe or cupboards. Also there were no spare blankets or pillows had there been we would have used them in place of the doona.

We loved the location, it was close to all the appointments we had. The building has some age on it, but considering that, it was clean. The bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a small table and chairs for meal time.

These aren't 'what we didn't like', just suggestions......... It would have been nice to had a small table and chairs for meal time, Netflix, foxtel any of these. Any streaming and we could have logged in with our own subscriptions. (Due to my husband having surgery, we were in our room for a couple of days)

The room had a homely feel with tasteful decorating. It didn’t have that cold, tasteless, uniform look that hotel rooms often have. I loved its vibe and everything needed was there. The lounge chairs were reclining, the kitchen well appointed with a funky look and top end utilities including a Nespresso coffee maker. The ensuite was really nice and clean. There were windows around the entire unit so the natural lighting was lovely with great views of the city. It was close enough to the city to walk there.

The set up.two ensuites were a bonus. Location was great

That the main room there was rubbish still behind the bedside cabinet . The blinds in the room were broken so the skyline lights came in at night No exhaust fans in either bathroom which fogged up the mirrors No garbage liners to replace in the bins No small bread and butter plates The plates and bowls where all cracked and chipped which is a bacteria hazard

The new room they moved me into was definitely more looked after then the room before, furniture and style was really nice, you could tell that these were privately owned and one owner puts in more effort than the other. the staff were also a great highlight as they’re very accommodating! the only thing I would suggest is more care in cleaning and an upgrade in furniture for some rooms!

When arriving at the Ridge Apartments the first two bedroom room furniture was ripped, dinted and was in great desire of an upgrade, the decoration pillows in the second bedroom had food stains and the normal pillows seemed to have stains on them. I went straight downstairs as I actually requested two queen beds for the weekend, the new room was completely different.

Excellent staff. Great value for money. Will be staying again!

We were travelling with an infant. They stated they had a cot for an infant however the cot did not have a mattress. Asked housekeeping. They confirmed there was no mattress. Solved the problem with a spare blanket. No harm done.

Location is great. I arrived on early flight from overseas and was able to drop off luggage and use pool facilities until room was an available. Staff were really helpful and pleasant

Electric jug was broken but staff provided a new one immediately Remote for air conditioning unit didn’t appear to work. TV remote didn’t work either (probably needed new batteries.
