Code Apartments

We booked this to be close to the RNA Showgrounds for an event and could easily walk there. It’s also easy walk to Fortitude Valley for food. House cleaners came through on a Sunday with fresh towels which was nice seeing as some hotels don’t service on Sundays. We stayed in a studio apartment which surprised us as I thought it would be basic but the kitchen is fully equipped with everything, massive bed in a separate room to the lounge room, big fridge and laundry facilities.

There’s only one aircon in the apartment situated in the lounge room so the bedroom doesn’t get much air and was warm throughout the night. The balcony is small with no seating but that’s ok as I think the 1 bedroom apartment’s accommodate that if that’s what you are after.

Great spacious apartment, much more than we expected. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and parking was easy (only $15 per night). Loved the location to Fortitude Valley and Showgrounds. So convenient, we didn't even need to uber

A cleaner came into the room on the second day, but only took the towels (leaving less towels behind so we had to share) and rubbish. Really strange and made us feel uncomfortable about our stuff being left out. Especially disappointed about the missing towels (Had 4 originally, ended up with 2 the second night).

Location was perfect for us, lots of delicious food near by. The apartment had almost everything we needed, and the bed was quite comfortable. If we were staying longer and didn't have an event to go to, we absolutely would have taken advantage of the sky deck. The TV worked well with free to air channels, and we brought a Nintendo switch with us that hooked up to it nicely.

When we arrived it was really hard to figure out the underground parking, because there wasn't very clear signage. It would be good if, as you enter, there were some posters pointing to the direction of the numbered spaces. In our apartment there was an open milk container as well which we threw away, but it meant that the complimentary milk (if there is one) wasnt replaced. The TV/wifi was slow for streaming services, so we just used a phone hotspot and a computer to watch netflix

We stayed for 5 weeks as we extended. We had a 9th floor apartment & the room layout was great as it included a study nook which was ideal for using my laptop away from the table & the tv. The room was very clean & the bed nice & comfortable & good shower pressure & hot water. We had a nice view over the exhibition grounds & a good size outdoor balcony area. The air conditioning worked well as we had some hot & humid days. This apartment had a great array of kitchen utensils & pots & a full size fridge. The housekeeping staff were very good & Angela & her team in management couldn’t be more helpful & assisted us on several occasions. Thanks team. We found the location ideal for travel to both the Southside & Northside of Brisbane & had no traffic issues any day. While it is close to the Royal Bris hospital you do get daily ambulance sirens, but with the balcony doors close they were not intrusive.

We loved everything especially 3 cafes 50 metres away for a morning coffee. A vegan cafe 200 metres away & an small IGA across the road & an easy walk to restaurants in the Exhibition area.

Awesome room layout, great bathroom and kitchen facilities for sure. Comfy bed and couch!the staff were very helpful with any requests we had and the room cleaning while I was out in the day was super helpful ❤️❤️❤️

The elevator didn't work at a certain time at all so we had to take the stairs, and my card didn't let me into my room at one point but both of those things were easy fixes and the staff were super helpful.

My apartment had everything I needed for my stay. It was lovely and clean, and the staff I came into contact with at reception were lovely.

My only complaint would be that the couch was extremely uncomfortable. I ended up sitting on the floor to watch TV in the evenings. And one of the lifts being out of action was a slight inconvenience. Apart from that everything was awesome.

Great location for being near to Gasworks, riverside and fortitude valley. Big spacious apartment with two double beds including one en-suite Very quiet building

Nice view, comfy apartment and quite spacious. Beds were comfy too and offered a soft and firmer pillow for each person.

Couldn't get to the location due to flooding and when we called the girl said "I got to work this morning" and when we asked for advice on how to get there was told just try google maps. We had been driving for 2.5 hours in flood waters from sunshine coast then 1 hour to get to the apartment but couldn't find a way there. We gave up and went to get food and reassess, we called family in the area and they helped us find a way from the city. No tea towel or oven mitts to get food out of the oven. Benches were sticky. Broken toilet paper holder in ensuite. Otherwise it was a nice apartment, just minor things that were missing or not super clean.

We stayed there to attend an early morning appointment at the hospital so it was local for the hospital, cheap taxi fare and the car park was kept until we returned. Due to parking cost at the hospital it is was cheaper to use the apartments car park and taxis. Pool and BBQ area were inviting but it was the middle of the cold snap so didn't take advantage and the gym also looked appealing if we were in a better physical condition. Front staff were very helpful.

We didn't have any issues really. It was just an overnight stay.

The A/C was noisy and unpredictable The shower screen was inadequate allowing water to splash over bathroom floor The kitchen itself was OK, but lacked in some cutlery, crockery and utensils (supplied upon request) The furnishings were minimal, kitchen table very small and chairs needed maintenance Room service was spasmodic - and no vacuum cleaning provided for the 9 days
