The self contained cooking facility was perfect

Having no reception after hours was a bit of a challenge. We had a fire alarm go off and couldn’t get into the room after I had evacuated for a brief moment

Room 906 Late check in - communications were straight forward and easy to do. Reception staff for the week were super friendly and helpful. That goes for all staff including cleaners & pool guy. Bin and recycle location was communicated and accessible night & day. Appreciate the room was serviced well once during 8 day stay as this was at no extra cost and was needed mid week.

Unfortunately construction early mornings was not nice BUT THIS WAS ALSO COMMUNICATED and TO BE EXPECTED. It was a busy weekend with semi final NRL & AFL in the city as well as the start of school holidays with the central city location I had expected much more disruption & disturbance.

I like how its a simple process to getting an apartment and the staff are so helpful I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay or just passing through well located to everything you could possibly need to shopping groceries, clothing and anything you could think of, and nature walks around the Brisbane city river is my favourite and the public transport is just literally at the front door Wether it be the train,bus,taxi,uber even the electric scooter if not walk is the perfect one because you can see Brisbane city at its full potential my ideal kind of place to relax.

The location of the hotel was within walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go. Sitting out on the balcony at night with a glass of wine was pure joy, watching the traffic, commuters and work men. Even though there was a lot of work going on around the hotel, the noise wasnt disruptive at all. The entire apartment was very well furnished and the bed was comfortable. Staff knocked on the door a couple of times to ask if I needed clean towels or whatever which was very much appreciated.

Only one minor hiccup. I arrived after hours and was sent a code to open the front door and another code to open the lock box to collect my keys. I could not get the code to open the front door to work and thought I would have to ring the after hours number, but fortunately another person staying came along and let me in with his door card.

The cleanliness of the property and the absolute value for money. Loved my extremely short stay there. Would absolutely stay there again if the same price was available and gif longer.

The fire evacuation…another guest had advised in the lifts that it was their 4th false alarm in 5 weeks. They were also an elderly couple. Unsure what floor they were actually on but was definitely higher than my 6th floor. And they had done that 3 times previously. Also was scared to have too warm a shower after that….

Check in was very easy including directions for parking our vehicle. The cafe/restaurant located just outside the main entrance was very convenient with a good selection of foods and drinks. The hotel is located opposite the Roma Street Train station which was very convenient for our onward journey. The hotel is only a short walk to the Brisbane CBD and all it has to offer

Unfortunately, major construction works are occurring across the road at the Roma Street Train station. The noise from the works were quite noticeable in the room. These works cannot be directly attributed to the Hotel, so scores and comments are provided without consideration to these works.

The place was awesome. I love every thing about it, For improvement going forward, you need to put instructions for use for your washing machines, dryer and stove, oven etc. Instructions must be placed beside these item so tenants can read and follow. You had your instructions on the Fire Alarm, and the fees of $1000. for setting off the fire alarm. How do we know how much smoke willl set off the fire alarm. Please do not scare off tenants in the way you have that notice up. I never enjoyed a warm bath because of such adverts. Please put carpets on the floor as to collect the dust as well. As on the floor alone you can feel the dust when walking around. Otherwise a nice small place where I enjoyed my three nights and would recommend to anyone going down to Brisbane for a break, holiday or business.

The bed needed to be upgraded. I went by myself so it never mattered but going foward needed improvement.

The Abbey is conveniently located to the Roma Street station and just a few blocks walk from the Queen Street mall. If you need to do a quick over night stay on your way to the airport it's great. There are enough food options in the area and a Woolworths down the road if you choose to cook for yourself.

The price for this accommodation is getting higher yet the rooms are becoming dated. The bathrooms are not disabled access friendly, someone in a wheel chair would not be able to easily access the share (over the bath).

the proximity to the railway station was a major factor, although it could have been closer to my conference at the Southbank. The room was not luxury but it served all of my needs - it was clean and comfortable.

I could have done with a few more powerpoints in the kitchen and the bedroom. Also an extra rubbish bag - as I was there for several days, the bin ended up being quite full but there was no spare rubbish bag.

I stayed in Apartment 806 and I was very happy with it. It had everything needed for a short stay. A comfy bed, good shower and a comfy lounge to make my stay relaxing. The kitchenette was very small but it had everything I needed. It is directly across the road from Roma Street Station and within walking distance to a basic Woolworths and a few takeaway shops. The noise from the work going on at the station wasn't an issue as with the balcony door closed I didn't notice it. I would stay here again.

The apartment was reasonably clean though some areas could have been better - dust on top of the fridge, the vents and the lint filter in the clothes dryer was extremely full. I didn't like the shower curtain sticking to me.
