Manta Bargara

The facilities were beautifully thought out - the master bedroom has a spa, a walk in robe and opens onto a gorgeous balcony, the kids pool was such a wonderful surprise, the property is absolutely perfect for families, and the lovely details, like the games cupboard full of board games and Lego for the kids , was such a thoughtful touch . The managers were so friendly and accommodating- we will definitely return!

There’s not much to not like. The parking was a little tight - we had a hire vehicle that was quite large , but there is ample parking on the street. A tad pricey at $350 a night, but this was in the Easter school holidays, so definitely expected.

A good location - all front apartments overlook a nice bay view with Norfolk Pines on a walking strip. We were, unfortunately, allotted a ground-floor apartment, which meant that we looked right into the eyes of passers-by, who could have easily walked onto our deck - so we felt a little exposed. Suggest that you confirm that your booking is for a higher floor. Allocated under-cover car parking is a bonus (lock-up would have been even better), and facilities such as a pool, tennis court and outdoor barbeque are good features. There are nice walks from in front of the units, and a supermarket and facilities only a short drive away (or 10 minutes or so to Bundaberg). We were lucky enough to see whales frolicking quite close to the beach on a walk.

Being on the ground floor meant that passers-by could see in, and traffic on the road in front might be a little noisy at peak times (but not when we stayed, in July). We agree with other reviewers that the apartments are starting to become a little tired (although clean and still fully functional). The ensuite (including a toilet) without a door between it and the master bedroom wasn't to our taste, and minimal supplies of coffee pods, dishwashing capsules, tiny pieces of soap and cheap toilet paper, plus water-saving taps that sprayed high-pressure strands of water in every direction might have saved the establishment a couple of dollars but were slightly irksome for the amount paid.

Clean and comfortable. Spectacular position close to beach and parks, plenty of great walking paths.. Cafes and coffee.. Bargara is very beautiful. Friendly locals..

Please rethink the 'disabled' access. As an amputee and occasional wheelchair bound person parking was not easy especially since this appears to also be the storage area for luggage carts. Access should not be an obstacle course.l

right on the beach front & walking distance to all pubs and cafe . only short drive to main town . was a great space and views. very comfortable inside and well equipped ☺️

I guess the timing was not right. had a few problems with noisy children in the pool and some noisy patrons. once they left it was lovely and quiet ..

Unfortunately being that the property has a mix of owner occupied and holiday let apartments there were some minor construction work being conducted on some apartments which created noise at times during the day. This was out of the property managers control. Additionally the car parking spaces are very tight. There are limited apartments that have double car parks. We would often find other cars parked in our spots which was annoying. We spoke to the managers about the issue who allowed us to park in a vacant spot (Which was subsequently parked in when we went for dinner).

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment. Comfortable lounge area with large ocean-view windows and excellent balcony. Easy walk to shops/restaurants/pub. Bargara was very clean and safe. Bundaberg is an easy 15 minute drive away and has lots of activities.

Wifi was very slow in peak time. The only elevator in the building broke down while we were there but it was no problem for us and was fixed within 24 hours, but I did see an elderly man nearly fall over when he had to use the stairs,

The views were spectacular The location was amazing The spa bath was so lovely for my son who was playing footy to relax in

The beds weren’t nice at all, I expected for the price and having such an amazing apartment it would have better beds , and a bigger like a king even a comfortable queen, bigger lounge would have been nice too.

Absolutely loved the location, the unit was perfect and facilitates great. Size of the unit was fantastic. Bathrooms beautiful and everything was clean. Wonderful kitchen with everything you could want. Managers were friendly and helpful.

The pool/spa area closed by 8pm. Would’ve been lovely to have a spa after dinner. A little early to close we think.

Our ground floor unit had direct street access and a short walk to the pool access to the other side. it was very clean and well stocked with items for a stay- vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, plates etc

Clock in kitchen needs new batteries as had stopped working

Room was beautiful and clean, spacious and had all amenities that you could possibly need. (Hair dryer, kettle, toaster fill kitchen dishwasher, washer and dryer. The lovely lady at reception even let me take a book to read from their little library which was great because I forgot to bring one.

I think the only thing was the International Roast sachets, but again appreciated the fact coffee was on offer.
