The room was a good size and very spacious. The wi-fi worked well. I had to do some work on the laptop while I was there and the desk in the room was a good size. Really close to several shops in the Coogee area so I could buy dinner and breakfast from nearby. I didn’t visit the beach myself, but the hotel is also very close to the beach. The staff were also very nice and helpful. The king sized bed was a great choice too.

If you are arriving via car, please note that the hotel doesn’t have guaranteed undercover parking. Parking is first come, first served. We did manage to get a car park when we got there, albeit it was one of the last car parks available that night. I think it has around 22 to 24 undercover car parks in total.

Amazing location on the beach at Coogee. Great walks and helpful staff.

We booked this hotel mostly for the car parking as we were travelling with a van full of art. There were only 4 car spaces in the underground car park that would fit our van and we were unable to reserve one. We would arrive back to the hotel and see normal sized cars parked in the 2 metre spaces, so we had to park in the council car park across the street. I understand they have a no reservation of car spaces policy but maybe exceptions could be made for oversized vehicles that won't fit in the other 95% of their car spaces...

If you are looking for a chilled or family friendly location Coogee is the place. Coogee sands apartments are clean, has private parking, laundry room and the staff were great and it's also right by the beach and close to cafes etc. The main bus stops are 100mtrs away (25/30mins to circular quays, central station and I think the airport). There is also a great walk along the coast all the way to Bondi beach.

Nothing I/we didn't like but we stayed twice in different family style rooms and one had a toaster the other didn't but had its own washing machine. Would be beneficial to have had a toaster as there is a laundry room.

The receptionist are so welcoming although we arrived pretty late at night. :) The room albeit small but was really comfortable and have everything we needed. Parking is onsite too.

There are two levels to park. If you are experiencing mobility issues or carrying a heavy luggage, I would suggest you to park on the ground floor as it will lead you straight to the reception/ lift. We parked on the second floor and had to carry our luggage down a short flight of stairs which we do not mind. The parking is tight and limited too, but that isn't an issue for us and we we're still happy overall!

The inside of the hotel is lovely! The reception was light and well lit. The room was large and with loads of windows. It was very clean and the daily housekeeping kept it very tidy. The hotel offers loads of extra advice like places to eat and where to buy things if you need them as well as offering you beach towels and laundry services. Coogee beach is a must visit!

There is a large club next door which plays music until late into the night at weekends. The music was not loud enough to keep us awake and the tv in the room drowned it out on a reasonable volume but it is something to note if you're a light sleeper. If you like clubs and don't mind the noise, its a great establishment to visit and is right next door! Also outside the hotel in general seems to be a tourist meet up point. Again, they caused no problems at all and I felt completely safe getting off public transport alone late at night.

The location is what makes Coogee Sands so special, truly amazing, right next to the beach. Coogee is such a vibrant and local area with a real busy and buzzing atmosphere. It was great to be a part of this during our stay. The staff at Coogee Sands were lovely, not too intrusive but attentive and all our requests were met with a smile. The rooms are basic enough but spotlessly clean and well equipped. We plan on returning next time we visit Sydney.

Sofa bed very uncomfortable with a roll in the middle so that made it difficult for 2 kids to sleep in. That is the only complaint!

Good location in an interesting beachside suburb. The apartment facilities, the ice machine on level 1, the top floor sun-deck with a barbeque. We had one of the balcony rooms overlooking Dolphin St - In our view, the balcony room was well worth the extra compared to the majority of other rooms which either had no outdoor space, or for the ground level rooms, an enclosed courtyard. Being able to get a car park under the apartment was a massive bonus in the busy post-Christmas time we visited. Again, is a top location in Coogee, lots of shops, take-aways, pub etc. just outside, beach forecourt just there.

The place has its limits, but they are not a deal breaker. Rooms are 4 star-ish in quality and feel, the rest of the place feels more like 3 star, with the single lift, narrow stairs, and lack of any sun protection on the sun deck on the roof. The condition of the sun-deck is instructive, in that is has potential to be a lot nicer to use than it is (it has plenty of space and a great view), I am thinking umbrellas, better furniture, pot plants, even some kind of bar perhaps. Two of us could use the barbeque and find just enough shade to sit at a table by getting in close to the available walls.

The location is excellent - 2 minutes walk to beach and restaurants. Beach towels provided. Room cleaned every day and towels changed every 3 days and you can request clean towels anytime if necessary. Reception opened 24hrs. Staff are extremely helpful.

In our room we did not have a tea pot as they are not provided- apartments do have one. Would also would have liked a coffee plunger.

the property is in a great location, across the road from the beach and right in the middle of coogees great night life and amazing restaurant and cafes. everything is a short walk from the property and the complimentary parking at the property takes the stress out of finding somewhere to park your car that isn't metered. the staff are super friendly and helpful also

the only thing I could say is that you can very lightly hear the music from Coogee pavilion next door when you are in your room of an evening. apart from that it was great!

Definitely, the best location in Coogee. Without crossing a road, you can walk to the beach which I consider to be one of the best in Sydney. Many nice restaurants nearby. Very good (but long) bus connections to the city and to the domestic airport. You can start the amazing costal walk directly from the hotel.

A few times (within many days) the internet did not work. There are many shops nearby all of which are rather expensive. Also restaurants are quite expensive.
