UPOINT San Telmo

Location was good - there's a wonderful restaurant about 5 mins walk away that you absolutely must try - they do wonderful food and wine pairings - BocaNariz. The room was large and everything was nicely decorated. Bed and pillows comfy. Didn't eat there so can't tell you anything about the food. Service was exemplary and people couldn't have been nicer. Luiz who works in the rooftop bar is a fabulous cocktail maker - get him to make you pisco sours - that man really knows his pisco and his flavours!

I thought it was a little overpriced - I stayed in a hotel round the corner with the same star rating and thought that it was nicer than this one. Rooftop bar is small but does have an outdoor area. Note that if you order an uber to the hotel, it will take you to the wrong street for some reason. However, the hotel is the next street - I had to ask at the coffee place on the corner as I had no data so bit of a panic but turns out it was easy to find.

I loved this hotel - it's a gorgeous old building and the rooms we had were mezzanine so you have a lounge downstairs and with a shower and toilet and then a bedroom with bath, shower and toilet upstairs. We had balconies that over looked the street so occasionally it was a bit noisy but nothing too bad. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were really helpful (thanks Augustine for all your help!) The location is awesome - you absolutely must to go the Mercado for dinner, which is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. You can also walk to the centre of town and the port in 20 minutes from there. Also, there is a fabulous tango show only 5 mins walk from there (ask Augustine - he can tell you which one). For me, this is the most atmospheric part of BA and it feels more traditional than other areas. There's also a lovely roof terrace available - weather wasn't good enough for us to use when we were there but would be wondeful in warmer weather.

Water pressure was low.

The location of this property is brilliant. You want to be within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops then this is the place for you. The room we booked had a small balcony overlooking the cobblestone street and we enjoyed it so much. The bed was comfy, with an ensuite bathroom, and another smaller bathroom down stairs. The lovely Augustin will greet you on arrival and is very helpful. 10/10!!

Very beautiful place to stay in a really nice aera ( San Telmo). Everything is close, there's a lot a of fun little bars et restaurants near by. We arrive almost at 2 am and there was someone waiting for us, wich was very nice. They accomodate us with a baby crib and had made the bed from the couch when we arrive, which we really appreciate. We could left our suitcase safe on our last day after check up. There is a beautiful rooftop that we enjoy with the kids.

Internet didn't work super good, it was on and off, There is no elevetor if you have a lot of luggages.

Very good location in a nice area of Buenos Aires, cozy cafés and restaurants nearby, very comfy big beds, we had a superior room upstairs which we liked very much, not all the rooms are as nice. Agustín, the guy at the reception was extremely helpful and respectful. Would recommend. Carina, Germany

It got pretty noisy during the weekend....

Agustín was great. He communicated with my via WhatsApp well before my stay. Helped me lug my 23kg+ luggages up the stairs. He helped us find transport on the day we were checking out. Overall, it was excellent customer service.

Not much. We were missing a hairdryer but that was sorted quickly. Lovely old building converted into a modern hotel. Great customer service. Super close to some of the main attractions.

We love everything,the location is perfect, Close to everything and very central. The rooms are very spacious and large, the place is clean and well maintained, the water flow in the bathroom is perfect, the design of the rooms is lovely, the beds are comfortable. Augustin who received us, was charming and took care of us throughout the stay. We highly recommend and will definitely come back again

average wifi and we were only originally given one towel for two people and when cleaning our toilet roll wasn’t replaced so we had to go and find some more. staff were nice but often weren’t at reception so we had to wait 20 minutes to check in as we couldn’t find any staff members.

Great location, large duplex room with two bathrooms and a balcony. A little loud on Saturday night, but fun to hear the local music. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We didn't understand how the hot water worked and there was no one available to ask the first night. Printed instructions would have been helpful. Once we found out the next morning everything was great.

location superb and staff were excellent . Hotel was probably at its prime in 2015 - It is starting to look tired and dated

rooms dated and bathrooms had cracked tiles and poor water pressure - bar and breakfast room were closed when we stayed. If you pay in Pesos be sure to check rate given
