SuMa Recoleta Hotel

Excellent location in Recoleta, quiet area, community feel, a stroll away from good restaurants and coffee shops. Customer service was really supportive, helpful and available. Spacious room. Simple breakfast daily - scrambled eggs, cold cuts and cheese, bread, pastries and cake. Appreciated the fresh cut fruit and squeezed daily juice. Basic, modern and lightly furnished clean room, with comfortable bed. Laptop safe was helpful, as was the fridge. All in all a relaxing environment and more than adequate room and bathroom facilities with refreshing shower spray. I would return to this hotel.

Excellent basic hotel in Recoleta. We have stayed here several times and we always enjoy it. Beds are very comfortable and rooms have a modern feel.

Like many buildings in Buenos Aires the elevator is old and very small. The room is comfortable but has basic amenities. For us we don’t mind as we only use the room to sleep. Overall we feel it’s a good value. Also don’t bother paying the up charge for breakfast, it’s isn’t anything special and the area has plenty of excellent cafes and patisseries.

Overall, a lovely place to stay. We liked the clean, newly renovated rooms, good tile jobs, good shower water pressure and good but expensive breakfast. If you want a better view you will pay 2 or 3 times the price.

Old, tiny elevators, not for the claustrophobic, no soap holder in shower, two tiny towel hooks (no bars to hang towels) yet towels not changed, no hotel, room or TV instructions, bathroom door does not close,

Location of the hotel was the best.

Elevators took a while (but love the charm of them). Nowhere to hang towels in room and no soap dishes in bathroom, towels were scarce. No bath mat. Hammering went on throughout the day, construction going on that was bothersome. Room phone is super old (looks like a child's toy).

The staff and the location are really great. The building is absolutely cute. The bathroom has no toilet brush, disposable toiletries. The breakfast is tasty. The room has no kettle. The plugs are old and badly positioned. The elevators need to renewed, they work poorly. Price wise 165€/night makes little sense for the cost of living in Argentina.

It’s a really nice hotel and in a very quiet location. One of the best stays in Buenos Aires and close to everything. Found that most of the places in the city are on busy roads and very noisy at night, but this one is the first where you could actually sleep without hearing a thing- it’s a big plus especially after a long flight.

The lift is a bit clumsy and quite small, not very efficient always.

very clean and fresh. great location with easy walk to restaurants and bars. the guy in reception was fantastic and arranged our trip to authentic argentine tango show and meal which was fantastic and recommended places to go. Price, especially taking advantage of Blue Dollar was so good and couldn’t get better value for money

Great location. Very clean/fresh. Staff were very helpful. Great value. Room was spacious.

It was moderately noisy, outside/hallway/elevator/neighboring room noise. However, I had just been in a very quiet place for two weeks, so for a city hotel the noise was perhaps not unexpected. The pillows were really hard. I put a pillow case on a decorative pillow to sleep better.

Great location, nice building and room - spotlessly clean. Really helpful staff who let us store luggage and booked us a taxi for the airport. Nice breakfast - unlimited tea, coffee and juices with cereal, fruit, pastries and yoghurt

The location is second to none. The rooms are fair and fulfils your needs. The breakfast gives you the best value in the area.

The maintenance in the lifts seems to be in progress and they do not look nice.
