Sea Sense Resort

The property is amazingly landscaped. Set on the jungle with coconut and durian trees, private beach and amazing views, you are really in a private oasis. Buffet was decent, mostly new food everyday and every Thursday they have free afternoon tea.

This property is a 15 minute walk from other restaurants. They have multiple electric golf carts which were never offered to us. For the money you pay it would be amazing service if they at least offered free lifts to the front gate however I assume this would mean less business for the resorts restaurants so I doubt this will ever be a service. The beach is dangerously rocky. Do yourself a favour and walk to the resort next door where it has a sandy entrance. Price of food at all the resorts restaurants are close to western prices, the happy hours for drinks are a waste of time and the food staff aren’t all that helpful. The rules are surprisingly strict, no where else in 5 weeks of Vietnam did I see this. Things like beach towels, could only use the kayaks for one hour ect..

We visited for our honeymoon and booked the beach front villa which was so worth it! We were in number 102 right on the beach, next to the pool and the Sunrise & Sunshine restaurants. We absolutely loved having access to all of the paddle boards, snorkels and kayaks too, such a bonus. The staff were incredibly helpful, polite and attentive. The beach itself was so well maintained, really clean and the water was super clean too! I could not recommend this place more, we can't stop dreaming about it!!

Very nice resort. I got exactly what I wanted: beautiful and quiet place, cleanliness, beautiful and cheerful people, good breakfast with food for everyone. Large and clean swimming pool, wonderful sea view. The massage is amazing❤. I got what I wanted after 2 months of visiting Vietnam: total relaxation.

The internet is very poor, although we had only good weather, no rain. I don't know how it would be good, maybe those golf cars should be able to be used for a fee from the resort to the main gate? If you want to go out in the evening, that hill kills you, especially if it's very hot.

Location was perfect and quaint. Nice and quiet and super relaxing. Clean beach. Beautiful views. Plenty of sun loungers. Rooms were big and very clean. Fresh towels given every day. Pool was lovely. Plenty of umbrellas to get shade. The beach villas were stunning. The views at night and in the morning from the villas were breathtaking. There are free kayaks which we took out daily which was an added bonus.

The ONLY negative we have about this place was the staff. Some of the staff were absolutely wonderful (like the man who would drive the buggy park to pick up my dad from various locations in the resort as he had a poor ankle). The other staff we found were not so helpful. Some were quite rude. They say things are complimentary and then cancel it without telling you. Their communication skills were poor, and we felt bedside manner could be a bit better and warmer. The other thing to note is that the food is OKAY, nothing amazing. We would be back in a heartbeat if the staff were kinder ... we also would have rated this accommodation as a 10!!!!

The room was lovely and spacious. Enjoyed the bath on the veranda looking over the ocean. Sunsets were love and the pool was lovely. Dinner restaurant on the ocean front was lovely and the food was good.

The beach wasn’t great. Very rocky getting into the water. The service also wasn’t great. I didn’t feel the welcoming vibe that I felt everywhere else in Vietnam. Also they boast 3 restaurants, but although the food was good the lunch and dinner restaurants had the same menu.

I stayed in a beachfront villa. Metres from the beach, large room, clean, bed & pillows a bit uncomfortable. Great views . Good hot shower. Wifi unstable at times but good enough to stream Netflix. Breakfast ok - only 2 options for vegans, bread & fruit, restaurant did not serve any vegetarian/vegan options - very steep walk out of property to find food. Staff very friendly, housekeeping came rather early at 830am a few times. Beautiful pool and pool area although closes very early at 6pm - it would’ve been nice to swim a bit later. Easy check-in & check out

It’s really quite isolated (which is good in some ways) however, it should be advised that a car or motorbike would make the stay better. Not everyone will be fit enough to walk back and forth from the property, particularly in the dark at night

The location is magical, feeling of being lost (while being only 20min away from the city of Phu Quoc) ! Rooms were clean and comfy, breakfast awesome, swimming pool & beach perfect... An amazing place to stay !

The restaurant (lunch/diner) is pretty expensive and not very tasteful, with lots of foreign food. But that's OK because you can just go out, Phu Quoc is packed with good places ;) Be careful for the reservation though : the Booking system is pretty broken here, with very bad explanations on how many guests per room. I was working in Phu Quoc 2 months before our stay, so I drove there to see the place and hopefully arranged everything with the staff : if you book here, I would advice to call them directly to make sure everything is ok !!

With a beautiful location next to the beach, this is everything you can expect from a resort! The stay was wonderful. Pearly white beach and a huge swimming pool. The staff are incredibly friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was different every day and tasted good. An absolute recommendation for a stay in Phu Quoc.

The prices of the restaurants were quite expensive. To go to the center, you have to walk quite a bit. The WiFi is not strong everywhere.

Lovely beach front location. Staff were excellent and very quick to deal with any problems. Pool very warm and clean. Plenty of sun loungers available. Good breakfast. Quieter than neighbouring resorts. I would especially recommend this hotel for couples seeking a quiet getaway (families might prefer the livelier Mango next door). The hotel restaurant was good but a touch pricey by local standards. For a choice of restaurants and shopping it is about a ten minute walk (go along the beach and through the Mango, then turn left at main road. Take a torch at night.).

Some of the gym equipment is clearly overdue for replacement. Also the gym needs more fans or a/c. Wifi in the rooms is patchy at best, but I was usually able to get a signal through my Vinaphone sim.

The pool and beach are so lovely. The rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast had a lot of choice and variety. Staff at the pool bar were nice.

The secluded location has some downsides. The security is very over the top, reception demand car number plates for anyone you might be expecting (we had someone come and pick up some laundry and they made things really awkward for them and wouldn't let them through security despite the driver having my full name). I understand something like this in the evening is appropriate but it's just a pain all day when you need to get around. It's difficult to walk around the area without a motorbike as there is a big and long stretch of hilly road to navigate that adds 15min to any journey.
