Bauhinia Resort Phu Quoc

The resort provided me free airport pick up, though after requesting them twice, even after my booking expense was well more than 800usd. Anyway i got it so happy about it. The staff were great. Always ready to help and smiling. The breakfast was great and they custom made vegan dishes for our family on request. The rooms were big and comfortable beds.

The resort is small and no garden area. I travelled with a big family with seniors and kids, who wanted a big garden area for playing/walking. Yes they do have a great pool. For this lack of space, i moved to another resort nearby. But then, yes it did have a private beach and a big garden area.. but otherways bauhinia was the best. The other resort had old rooms, rock hard beds and uncourteous staffs. Then i realized how great bauhinia was.. if lack of garden space and private beach doesnt bother you, go for it. This place is such good value for your money! Breakfast was delicious with a variety to choose from, very close to everything you need, good sized pool to spend the day in and the staff are so incredibly accommodating and welcoming - they are just absolute gems. We had an early flight that required us to be at the airport before breakfast normally starts and the staff still insisted on making us breakfast very early in the morning before we had to leave to the airport. We will most definitely come back here if we visit Phu Quoc again.

The only issues we had with our stay were very minor issues - the AC and fridge weren’t very powerful so our drinks didn’t really get cold. Pool could’ve have been slightly cleaner but understanble as it is surrounded by greenery that falls into the pool.

I have just spent a week here and I LOVED this hotel! The staff are amazing! So so friendly, helpful and so welcoming. Nothing is too much for them. Not all can speak English but many can so no problem. Breakfast is good with a wide fresh selection of both western and Asian options available. I had a poolside room which was perfect. My room was basic but had everything a solo traveller could want. The rain shower was a little fresh but ideal after a hot day at the beach. The location is good. It is up a side street off the main road but only 5 minute walk to the beach and around 15-20 minute walk from town and main market area. However, there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by. I would recommend exploring down some of the side streets off the main road as there are plenty of great lively little bars tucked away. I had the best time here and will 100% be coming back.

Loved my stay at Bauhinia! Really beautiful spot, short walk to the beach and many restaurants and bars! Room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Really nice pool that gets full sun all day! Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful! Would love to come back here some day!

Nothing major but the pool could use a skim for leaves and bugs, perhaps just more often. It was fine by my standards to enjoy a swim but it was more noticeable by my last day. Chickens next door were noisy in the early mornings. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Of course there is nothing the hosts can really do about this and it was tolerable.

We were out of season so it was pretty quiet which was amazing! The place was fantastic. Staff couldn’t do enough to help. We had a monster delay when leaving but Minh couldn’t do enough to help. She even called our hotel in Hanoi to let them know we would be checking in out of hours. Can’t praise the team there highly enough. Pool was great. Towels for the pool and to take to the beach so don’t stress about packing for your trip. Free water every day of our trip and to take with us to the airport. Excellent little restaurant just down the road called the banana! Great food, much better price than the main strip.

very friendly Pick-Up at Airport. Min was a blast, we got every Information from her in No Time and she was always very kind, helpful and such a positive Woman! Just nice to have daily talks with her. Also the optional breakfast is really good. We rented a Scooter with good Condition here. have recommended it to Friends already.

Facilities were great, the pool was amazing and the hotel in general was very beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful, we could rent motorbikes from the hotel for a very affordable price. They helped us book taxi/ferry tickets. Provided laundry service. The location was great, very close to restaurants/bars.

Restaurant was limited to breakfast only but as everything was close by, this wasn't a real issue. The hot water takes a while to heat up for the shower but it was so warm this wasn't too much of an issue.

Located about 350m down a narrow made-up but fairly unpleasant road used by lots of cars & mopeds. We had a ground floor cabin and the next door garden has cockerels & chickens which start crowing & clucking at c3am! The large bathroom is not fully sealed off from the outside, so you need to keep the bathroom door firmly shut to minimise the noise & avoid entry of mosquitos.

For sure, this gains a "10". So great value for money, fantastic pool, large rooms with balcony, nice staff, quiet but central location, 15 min walk to a good nearby beach. Modern bathroom, good wifi, a fridge, kettle, coffee, really all perfect to feel good here. I should have stayed longer. Despite the very hot weather (35 degrees +) aircon worked fairly well, but had to put on lowest temperature.

All was ok, just a few minor things : not enough plugs and room a bit empty, no chair in room, only chair outside.

I am very impressed at the service that is at this property. It was a great pleasure to stay here and I would love to return as soon as I am on the island. I would like to thank very much the staff who made me feel special. If we say that the atmosphere is built by people then in this case it was at the highest level. Many thanks to Min who is very competent, very empathetic and extremely helpful person. Thank you. Thanks to you I will have extraordinary memories of this place <3
