La Siesta Classic Hang Thung

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! From the moment of our arrival, the staff were welcoming and friendly and even introduced to places of attraction around the vicinity. Throughout my stay, the General Manager always made sure that I was having a great time and he even personally allocated me a room with wonderful view of the city. When I had any enquiries, hotel staffs were always more than willing to answer, and they even went the extra mile to provide me with recommendations and itinerary suggestions based on their own experiences! I was thoroughly impressed by the hospitality of the staff, which made this stay very memorable. The breakfast offered by La Siesta Hang Thung has an excellent variety of both local and international dishes! I particularly enjoyed their yogurt and PHO. This hotel is well-furnished and brand new, I appreciate the attention to detail in the furnishing, from the hotel rooms to the dining rooms and to the reception area, each furniture piece worked cohesively to create a modern vibe with lovely vintage pieces. Would definitely recommend this hotel to those visiting Hanoi!

It had just been opened for a week and you would have thought it had been opened for a long time as the staff where awesome.Well run 5 star boutique hotel in a great location.I guess it only gets better and better in the future

Stayed at this hotel for only one night and I was a bit regretful I didn’t stay longer! it’s a charming little oasis located in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter, the location is just perfect, only 1 min to the legendary Hoan Kiem lake, a great base to wander through busy streets and other attractions . My deluxe room is pretty decent sized and well designed. There is a beautiful swimming pool at the back, the sky bar serves amazing cocktails, make sure you don’t miss out their great happy hour too. All the meals I had in their restro were also on point, such great value for money. Above all, the staff are so nice and attentive, I was met with Mr. Giang, the General Manager during my time in the hotel, the service from him and his entire staff team is absolutely outstanding. I’m definitely coming back to this place next time I am in town and I will make sure I stay longer

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, starting with the remarkable welcome service by the fabulous Quyhn. Our spacious room provided a comfortable haven to return to after hours of exploring the beauties of Hanoi. Each day, the prospect of a fabulous breakfast on the 11th floor, with its spectacular view and warm welcome of An, filled us with excitement. Little did we know that the same restaurant would surprise us with its amazing nighttime offerings. It's not just the room or the food that will draw me back, but the staff who left an indelible impression with their friendliness, helpfulness, and invaluable recommendations. This experience has convinced me that a return visit is an absolute must.

Right amongst the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. A stones throw from everything you needed! The room was so spacious and the balcony looked over the locals homes, which made the experience much more authentic. The service was exceptional and the most helpful accomodating staff.

The room wasn’t fully sound proofed which made for a difficult night, the pillows were also quite uncomfortable. However, when we provided this feedback at the end of our stay, the hotel reception staff were so apologetic and kind to us, that we felt bad for saying anything! They gave us free transport to the airport (completely unexpected) and gave us a gift representing luck and wealth for our family. So the negative, was a positive in the end. They were so sweet about us not getting much sleep. The hotel had also only been open for 2 months which we weren’t aware of. Obviously some teething issues.

The staff are amazing and the location is perfect. I didn't like the pillows so they bought me new ones. The room design was different to the bookings.com photos so the Manager gave us a complimentary dinner. They all understood English so it was a pleasure to communicate with them. The restaurant chef was awesome, his food was of a high quality. The staff even provided me with lactose free milk because of my allergy. The hotel is in the process of building a penthouse suite. Would recommend La Siesta to anyone staying in Hanoi and there is a pool too. Lots of English speaking tourists stayed at La Siesta so made some new friends. Overall the best hotel we stayed in in Vietnam.

The mattress was a little soft for me but still slept like a baby!!!! Our stay at La Siesta was too short.

The breakfast spread was good, with a variety of local, western and vegetarian options. The highlight of our stay was the warm reception that we received from the hotel staff. Every single one of them were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ask about our day and whether we needed any assistance. I loved that they volunteered to make us a dinner reservation on the evening that we arrived, to help us settle down quickly. As the the location, it's can't get any better. Walking distance to so many dining options and the weekend market, as well as the French Quarters, we were spoilt for choice.

Can’t fault the service here. Everyone from the people in reception to the cleaners were friendly and polite. The hotel is quite new so did not fully have all facilities available (like the gym and spa). My husband enjoyed the pool very much. Everything is sparklingly clean. The bed and pillows are the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel. Location is in the old quarter so spoilt for choice with food. Everything is within walking distance. Because hotel is in the old quarter, most tours will do pick up from hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

The opening and closing hours could be extended to earlier and later respectively. We’re early risers and would love to have a swim early i nghe morning or go for swim at night.
