Hampton Inn Danville

The greeting from the staff was great at the hotel and the breakfast was good (not amazing, but definitely better than other hotels I've been in during the pandemic.)

Our hotel room had all sorts of weird lights that we had to figure out how to turn off (one that illuminates the bookcase). Also someone previous had set the bedside alarm at 6 am and it went off before we had planned to get up and it was really hard to figure out how to turn the dumb thing off and the industrial cable made it impossible to unplug!).

The hotel itself was clean and amazing even after having not been there in a few years! Staff were helpful and amazing! Hotel accommodations were pleasant for what was advertised via the site! While the wifi didn't work at first, there was a workaround that the staff had to help guests get connected for the hotel's free wifi!

We have stayed here before so I liked that I knew where it was located (it’s sort of tucked behind a gas station, right near the Danville exit for 1-80. (The previous time we had a bit of trouble finding it). We also use this hotel for a specific event in nearby Elysburg.

Strangely the door to our room didn’t close automatically. I always had to specifically close the door which was a bit strange, it looked like it had been shaved down on the edge as if it had been sticking. Also I felt it wasn’t all that sound proof, I could hear others alarms in the morning as well as elevator transit noise etc.

Breakfast buffet awesome, snack area, coffee bar. The room was large.

Got chemical conjunctivitis cyst from chlorine in the pool, also it was way too hot and heavy to breathe in the pool area needs better ventilation and the pool needs fresh water. Shower head outdated, hard to rinse hair. And maybe some more tables in breakfast area.

OK with Me............................We found this Neet lounge/restaurant in Downtown Danville we loved it i think the name was PUB 11 .............very good.................very good food and safe place...............and prices rite

Not anything that i can remember..........

There was an issue in the second floor laundry room causing the fire alarm to trip. Thank goodness it was not a fire, the trucks took far to long to arrive. They were quick to assess and clear the building. We were outside form approximately 10:45pm - 11:45pm.

Room was clean, pretty and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful, a nice variety and very clean. One of the most convenient locations for Knoebels Amusement Park.

The jacuzzi was broken and closed and we were really looking forward to it.

it would have been the pool but other then that location

i was very very upset that the pool was not open. i even called booking.com and they said they called the hotel to verify it was going to be open and they assured me it was. i would of stayed at red roof if I would have known the pool wasn’t open.

Good location, good breakfast options and a comfortable spacious room.

Minor detail- the hairdryer didn't work but we had our own. Also, booking.com has the wrong address for this property and we had trouble finding it at night as the signs were not illuminated. Please check your address with Hampton Inn.

The pool was great. The breakfast was great. The lady at the front desk was great. Missed her name. The people who cleaned up in the morning were very nice. Also great

The hot tub was closed.
