Comfort Suites Fernley

Hot Beakfast offered both plain and blueberry waffles, three days three different types of meats, always had Hot and Cold cereal and eggs, yogurts and fruit juices. Clean and comfortable room. Extra linen and pillows in the closet. Super deep bathtub to totally relax in. More like a hot tub. Staf was just amazing. A little bit pricey for the weekend we were there at about 150.00 night. Fast food casinos and gas and other restaurants close by walking distance.

The price was higher than I had planned to pay.

The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a big TV, a couch and chair.

The desk clerk was overworked at check-in time and didn't handle the pressure well. Consequently, she was far from cordial and welcoming, with diminishing efficiency. She said she was the only one there. I had key card problems after we had checked in and she insisted on fully checking in other guests before she did the 30 second process to issue new keys. GRRRR... Also -- your key cards need an arrow on them to assure your guests insert them the right way. It really isn't obvious and creates problems for everyone. There's an active railroad track on the north side of the building. I was glad our room was at the other end. While the trains didn't blow whistles as they passed, it was pretty obvious when they went by.

It was a very nice place to stay. We were only there for one night. Less than 24 hours exactly. The room was clean and well taken care of. Personally, I am not a breakfast eater just coffee. We had coffee in the room with our own coffee maker. We have learned our lesson on those coffee makers in the room. Very unpredictable conditions. My husband went down for breakfast but I don't remember what he said about it. However, when we left, I noticed that is was well maintained and clean.

What we didn't like and it had nothing to do with our accommodations was that there was no where to have some dinner. We ended up at the Round House Pizza. Thank goodness they had wine and a salad bar.

The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. Great beds and pillows. Staff is friendly

Next to railraod, depending on the side of hotel you are on. 1 side you do not hear the trains passing or feel the vibration, unfortunately the other side you do. ( I've booked more than once for work as the rooms are the best size and cleanliness in Fernley) Also large gaps from floor to door bottom and the side of door. I used couch pillows to line bottom of the door. Just made me uncomfortable having such a large gap , my fingers to my 2nd knuckle fit underneath the door ..attached 2 pictures of the door

We enjoyed our one night stay at this nice hotel. Hotels in Reno were very expensive so we booked this hotel 30 min down the road instead. It is set back off the freeway so it is pretty quiet. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the room was super clean which was much appreciated! Breakfast the following morning had a good selection and was tasty. Best hotel of our entire trip!

The location was perfect for the events we were attending. The property was very clean and the Junior Suite had plenty of room for our family of 5, which includes teenage boys! We will definitely be back for the next event!

The mattress on the sofa bed - there were some stains that were "questionable" and it didnt look like it had been checked / cleaned recently....other than that - no complaints!

The breakfast was pretty good, the kids were very satisfied. The pool was pretty small but the kids were excited to swim. The location was okay. The desk clerk recommended a good restaurant, Guadalajara, which was only a mile away. Kids and parents all happy!

The wall plug in our bathroom was falling out. It felt unsafe to use.

Room was very spacious and comfortable .... however, someone's dog had pooped in the elevator and so we had to doge in/out of the clump on the floor, and it smelled. Not sure how long it had been there.

Didn't like the hike in the price ... we come to Fernley often and stay in that hotel each/every time because of the location and such. Since it was a last minute booking we felt somewhat "stuck" with what we were able to get ... not familiar enough with the rest of the town/city.

Location and room

Stayed 3 nights. Each evening, including check-in, neither of the two key cards given to u opened the door which required a trip to the front desk to get new cards before we could get into the room. The cards were kept separate from other cards and were not exposed to magnets or electronics. What gives?

We checked in rather late and the staff took care of us without a any problems (he was really nice) Loved the bed, we were able to fall asleep with no problems. Breakfast was great, really liked the brown bag idea.

The shower was really loud, had this really high pitched sound coming from it. Also the water pressure could have been better. All in all great room.
