Americas Best Value Inn & Suites-Boise

Checked in very late and was greeted by a very kind gentleman I was sure I just woke up. He was not bothered by being awaken and was even laughing making jokes. Very nice man eased my worry that my late check in was gonna be a problem. On a personal note loved the genuine kindness and personality from the gentleman that checked me in.

Past reviews seem negatively skewed or, more likely, this property has exerted efforts to improve their offering. I had an easy, good value stay with no issues. Clean room, cameras in parking lot for car, air conditioning worked. It's a value offering and not high end. With appropriate expectations, this place delivered budget value.

Kenna, the front office clerk was especially friendly and helpful and trying to help me to resolve my problem with the card keys

unfortunately, the card keys did not do too well in opening the doors. I had to swipe them repeatedly to get them to work. Kenna that you have an older type of card key lock system?

Bed was comfy, room was adequate size. The property was near to where we were when I booked. Check-in was hassle free.

The doorway floor transition. There was a huge gap here + the bathroom floor was uneven. My wife tripped & almost face-planted into the bathroom due to this. The wood floor made our steps a tad bit loud.

It was cheaper for my budget. Office staff were very nice.

Well my beds were dirty when I checked in the floor was a bit dirty. Had a few problems with people above me being very loud after midnight

look it was late I was looking for a pillow without spending any money so after a few phone calls I went on Booking.com and got what I paid for! it was near the Interstate n center of town by the airport.

Security exits didn’t open with my key the ice machine must of been over worked a plug had no cover in it

Comfortable beds. "Reasonably" quiet room. (Thin walls). Accommodating, flexible,friendly staff. Nice peacock decor in lobby. Good rates. Convenient to Boise airport & I-84 freeway. Nice enough to extend our stay from 2 days to 3 days.

Parking lot needs repair. Dog feces in rocks around tree next to entry & parking. Long-term residents lingering around outside. In middle of construction upgrades. TV only had 8 channels; picture was purple the 1st night; ok next day. Fortunately we requested handicap access room..were moved from construction building to "Ramada" building..much nicer building. Small leak in shower head.

The price and the location off the highway was perfect. Also, there was an Applebee's across the street. Room had refrigerator, microwave and television.

Very iffy location if traveling with family but only in looks. It was actually pretty quiet and safe.

The room was clean and the bed was very good.

No outside entrance to room. Interior corridor entrance only. This is common for all motel constructed today. While this may be the preferred design of the day, it is not the design I prefer and all the old style motels are being phased out or demolished. Boo.
