The Grape Leaf Inn

I highly recommend staying in Healdsburg as a base for the Sonoma Valley, and the Grape Leaf Inn was fantastic! Beautiful house and grounds. Located an easy 5-10 minute walk from the Healdsburg square and all the great restaurants there. Breakfast was delicious every day. The spa pool was relaxing after a day of exploring the area. Staff was always easy to find and never in the way. We were in the Champagne Suite, which was perfect and very private.

I can’t say from experience, but my impression is that the rooms on the first floor that opened to the breakfast room would have been less private and noisy in the mornings. Probably still ok if you’re an early riser.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted with freshly baked cookies and a glass of zinfandel from one of the Wilson family vineyards. Our room was situated on the first floor next to the dinning room, yet it felt private and was quiet while we were there. The room was small, nicely decorated, had a small private balcony and the bed was very comfortable. A delicious breakfast was served each morning on the wonderful veranda over looking the gardens. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They recommended vineyards to visit and scheduled a spa treatment for our last day. Since our spa treatment extended beyond check out time, they were very accommodating to extend us extra time to not feel rushed. We were very appreciative. The picturesque town is situated around a town square, shops, art galleries, and amazing restaurants. Two nights was not enough to enjoy all the this things they had to offer. We will be back.

The air-conditioning in the room was not working to the best of its ability.

The location was very close to the downtown plaza and the staff were fabulous. The cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious -saved us time and money from eating out and our omelet the last day was the best I’ve ever had. 24-hour convenient tea and coffee service and afternoon cookies were the bomb! The inn was very quaint, quiet and the wrap-around porch was wonderful to relax on for morning tea, breakfast, and afternoon libations. The pool looked nice, but didn’t use it. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We will be back! Bonus-free wine tasting at 11 Wilson family wineries!

only dislike was that one of the sinks in our bathroom didn’t have hot water.

Cute little B&B a quick walk away from the square. Great little rooms with everything you need, delicious breakfast, a super cool looking speakeasy (that is still closed), and unexpected huge hot tub! Room a bit on the small side, but everything you need. Also, took advantage of all of the tastings associated with the inn, a great perk!

Wifi didn't work great and AC a bit on the weak side. Otherwise, everything was great!

The Grape Leaf Inn was a wonderful choice for Healdsburg. It is a lovely inn within walking distance of the beautiful little square with its unique shops and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful arranging an after hours check in with no muss and no fuss. They also alerted us upon booking that on the two nights we would be there, many of the restaurants around the town are closed. Because we knew ahead, we were able to get reservations right away and were not scrambling at the last minute. In addition, they had called and made reservations for the wine tastings we had chosen and the times that worked for us. Thanks Grape Leaf staff! There is a small parking lot behind the inn, but street parking was also available with no concerns. Great breakfasts. (We would stay there again, but would choose a larger room next time.)

Location was super convenient, close to downtown, but in the cutest quiet neighborhood. The hosts were helpful when I was looking for a place to eat-came up with a list of 3 solid places with the type of food I was hoping for. Also, lovely breakfast on the deck was a bonus-the flowers in bloom were so lovely! I definitely would stay again!

My room was situated near the dining area, so it was a bit hard to sleep in, and my dog was a bit rattled by the noise in the morning. Otherwise, the place was so quiet. I was surprised to see all the guests eating breakfast because I didn't see/hear a single person the night before. I thought the place was empty until I saw everyone at breakfast.

Lovely B&B owned by the Wilson family. Very close to town centre, yet very quiet and peaceful. Our room was so comfortable. We had a great night's sleep. In the morning, we really enjoyed the breakfast that was served on the porch, before heading out for wine tasting at nearby wineries. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. Overall, this was an excellent weekend getaway.

Most amazing breakfast, best I have ever had at an inn. Kudos to the chef. Loved the French press. The small frig for our food was very useful. Very surprised and such a great welcoming to have a bottle of your wine given to us - as first time visitors to wine country this was an unexpected treat. The morning lemon and then cucumber water was again an unexpected an so appreciated treat. We also appreciated the parking and location to lock up our road bikes for the night. Thank you.

Didn't eat breakfast but my partner says it was a hot breakfast made fresh and she enjoyed it.

The room size, while okay, had a fairly tiny bathroom. While small, it was well appointed. Also, the room was downstairs and situated just off the dining room meaning, there was always noise in the mornings as people came down to eat. This made sleeping in a bit of a problem.

Quaint, peaceful inn with historic charm. The room was small but extremely comfortable. We arrived in the evening for dinner and had a relaxing morning at the inn. My favorite thing was the small details in the home and small touches the staff added. The breakfast was excellent and it was a great little escape from the hustle and bustle of the bay.
