Hotel Les Mars

Location very close to the square and all of the best restaurants in Healdsburg. Room (304) spacious with vaulted ceiling and quiet. Furnishing and finishes of good quality. Bathroom large and well-equipped.

The adjacent bar and restaurant (Chalkboard) created some unwelcome pedestrian traffic and noise at times in the hotel lobby, which made it feel less "private" than normal for an establishment affiliated with Relais et Chateaux. Neverthless, this is by far the best hotel experience we have had in Healdsburg and was well worth the premium pricing.

The property is so gorgeous with Provençal touches that transport you to another country, while still being modern and comfortable. The room we were in was stunning! Vaulted ceilings, amazing King bed frame. The furniture is mind blowing. The gigantic jacuzzi tub was the chefs kiss!

The parking is a bit of an issue, unloading and loading on a very small five minute zone. Should be open to hotel guests only. I had to ask someone to move their truck so I could check-out and load our vehicle. Also the lighting around the vanity mirror in the bathroom is very low.

Location was perfect for getting to many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. One of the 3 of us could not tolerate gluten and gluten free toast was provided for her. Room decor was so nice, we enjoyed !

Cost was extravagant. I splurged this time and enjoyed ,but may research further for another accommodation next time in your town . We noticed one of the nightstands needed some repair( loose metal trim) that needed secured.

This is an exceptional hotel, from the moment you arrive until departure. The hotel underwent a renovation in early 2022, and we found both the common areas and our room to be thoughtfully appointed with high-end amenities. From the comfortable bed, to fine bed linens and towels, to extra touches like designer toiletries and custom chocolates at the turn-down service, we felt pampered at every turn. The staff was attentive and helpful, including arranging for a lovely free wine-tasting at a beautiful vineyard. The evening wine and cheese session was delightful, the free valet parking was convenient, and the complementary breakfast was good, although a little pedestrian (simple, quality food, but no choice - without an extra charge, and the same thing every day.) Overall we had an outstanding stay, and look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel is charming and elegant, and the room was lovely and well appointed with a super comfy bed and great shower. The location is spectacular - a block from town center and an easy walk to great restaurants, with an excellent restaurant just downstairs. Hotel staff were also fabulous- very helpful and attentive. Nice little wine and cheese was also offered in late afternoon.

Would have liked to have a coffee bar available downstairs in the morning. And more bread/crackers were always needed with the wine and cheese.

The location, 5 min walk to anywhere in town. Quiet area. Room size. Super comfortable bed. Ambiance of the whole hotel. Size of bathtub and shower. Staff and service. Complementary tastings.

The rooms on the third floor are nicer, and may justify the rates better. Breakfast was very limited (due to covid, but still). TV on the room: we tried to hide it (we never use them) but the mechanism didn't work. We tried to use it, and we only found cable tv without popular subscriptions. So in the end it was kind of useless, and was covering some nice paintings.

Breakfast was good, could be changed up a bit on the complimentary side. The staff were all wonderful, very attentive to our needs. The room was great, very roomy for us 3 ladies.

Our room was warm at night because A/C wasn't working. The manager brought in a window vent which helped a lot but we had to leave the window open and the garbage truck came at 6 a.m. every morning and woke us up.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town, close to shopping, restaurants and tasting rooms. Great restaurant and bar. Very helpful, charming and knowledgable staff. COVID-friendly in-room breakfast options.

The continental breakfast should have included a coffee or tea option.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well appointed. The staff was very responsive and means we had. The breakfast served in our room was very good.

Everything really. Beautiful and spacious room, sparkling clean, great design. The winner is a jacuzzi! Hot and delicious breakfast included! Complimentary wine was very nice. We enjoyed it in jacuzzi! Bedding and mattress is very comfortable as well. Was sad we had to leave.

Just for the information, there is no gym, pool or spa.
