Best Western Huntsville

Breakfast was not as expected. Not much of a choice/variety as at other Best Western hotels(pre-packaged: boiled eggs, pancakes), peanut butter, jelly packets, options to toast bread, etc.

Sink in room too shallow hence water was always spilling on the countertop.

Clean room, comfortable bed.

The sofa sleeper was hard to sleep on. They provided a flat sheet a pillow and a duvet - but I would have liked something between the sheet and the sofa - just a personal preference. The front desk people were very busy so wee ended up accidentally being assigned (we got the key cards and they put 236 on the key card instead of 238 which was our actually assigned room) a room that was occupied.

Great deal for an excellent room. Glad they have black-out shades rather than curtains because they’re definitely needed to block out the Waffle House sign/street lights.

My room overlooked the back of the Waffle House next door. Not great, but acceptable considering the reasonable rate for a new property.

convenient to Von Braun. We were in town for a volleyball tournament. all rooms are only accessible from inside. Doors are locked at 10 and you can only enter with your room card. Mrs. Monica at the front desk was absolutely the best and very personable. Breakfast was hot and yummy! great variety of items. parking lot very well lit. clean rooms, each has fridge, microwave and a keurig with coffee pods and all accessories.

The room was much bigger than a regular king sized room. We stayed in the king with the sofa. The room was clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever used in a hotel. The breakfast was also pretty good. Overall I would stay here again.

The elevator door was loud when it closed. The toilet seat in our room was very lose.

Beautifully updated rooms. Quiet. The man who checked us in was great, very friendly and sincerely appreciated our business. The man on the night shift, not so much. So it is hard to rate the staff.

Fire alarm went off at midnight. We proceeded down the stairs to lobby from third floor where it smelled like cigarettes in our hallway. The hotel clerk was just standing behind the desk. A man tells the clerk he heard a kid say he pulled the alarm. So the clerk says, ok everyone can go back to your rooms without checking the property. A lady asked if he notified the fire department and he said no, not necessary because the alarm was false. No one went back to their rooms, and someone called the fire department. They arrived, checked all the floors, then we felt safe to return to our rooms. When checking out, no one from hotel staff around. You would have thought they would have at least thanked us for our cooperation last night.

Hotel was clean and comfy. Loved the kureig and air humidifier in the room

Upset stomach from night before check out and the only food i ate was from the hotel. Front desk was very rude and would only give me 1 extra hour past check out even though i explained i can't drive in this condition. He didn't care at all saying we have to get you out so housekeeping can prepare the room for other guests. Well am i not a guest? I spent 2 nights here. The hotel itself was great but the front desk was very rude.

Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was better than what I was expecting due to COVID. The hotel and room were very clean.

There was a disturbance in the room next door that required me to call 911 at 3:30 am. Lots of yelling,screaming,slamming of doors and a child that was obviously scared. Luckily my kids slept through it but it definitely had me on edge and I did not sleep the rest of the night which made it difficult knowing I had a 7 hour drive ahead of me the next day. It's not the hotels fault. You can't really control other peoples actions. The shower floor is very slippery. I almost slipped getting in. Maybe adding a bath mat to the floor would help.

Location was great. Close to restaurants and activities that is good for the whole family. Rooms were clean and up to date. Easy to navigate and easy to find.

Was only there for the night so didn't really get see anything that could have been changed or we didn't like

The room was extremely comfortable, very accommodating, great location, and I felt very safe. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.

I have zero complaints. I will say I travel for work and I work at night, so I felt bad leaving and coming in so late/early, because the front sliding door made a really loud noise.
