Ramada London Stansted Airport

Breakfast was lovely and were able to accommodate vegan. Beds really comfortable and rooms spacious. Receptionists were helpful although I booked in on line yet had to go through it all again when we arrived.

Nothing not to like

Staff were lovely, room was a good size, had good aircon, handy location to airport and other towns, good service area and eatery right nextdoor. Best part there was a revolution laundry right beside it. Restaurant was nice and breakfast was good.

Our room was very damp smelling and there was a lot of mould buildup in our shower, we stayed 4 days and had to ask for clean towels, daily house keeping should have been daily like clean cups and replenishing of tea, coffee etc and emptying bins. Other that it was good, maybe a different room next time.

It was close to Stansted airport and the restaurant was good.

The temperature of the room was too warm.

The room was extremely clean and the staff were able to provide me with toothpaste as I'd forgotten mine. Despite the hotel being located in a motorway services and my room overlooking the carpark, I was not disturbed by any outside noise. It was also easy to find food/pick up last minute items at the motorway services.

As I was travelling without a car of my own, it was a bit expensive to arrive at the location/get to the airport via Uber and so worth considering paying more to stay at a hotel inside the airport. However, I think if you're going with your own car, it's a perfect option.

I thought the location was great and managed to get a parking space beside the hotel. Lots of facilities close by. I liked the whole vibe of the hotel and found the room comfortable

The breakfast experience could be improved. There was no fresh coffee left. Had too ask for the machine to be sorted. Whilst waiting for coffee refill went to get orange juice but there was none left. Had to wait for that too. My daughter didn't want to pay £10 breakfast fee just for a pain au chocolate so I ate alone and we then went to Starbucks for her to eat breakfast.

Rapid and uncomplicated check-in, including recommendation to provide the core data about guests to speed up the process, comfortable bed, tasty and hearty breakfast, invoice handed over at check-out almost automatically. A good and inexpensive overnight stop if you have a late evening arrival to Stansted.

Just for information: The bus stop at Birchanger Green Services near the hotel on Dunmow Rd is currently closed because of road work. The closest stop is Shortcroft some 500 m towards Bishop's Stortford. This is a little bit inconvenient as there is no shuttle service.

Friendly informative welcome. Clean room with all facilities. Lovely and quiet inside when considering proximity to airport and motorway. Competitively priced evening meal.

Breakfast buffet was neglected. Chef loitering behind reception.. Food levels not great. Milk and juice allowed to run down. 1 scabby egg in dish for the duration of the time I was there. Even when the chef was in the kitchen the replenishment was neglected. I could understand if it was close to the end of service but this was at 8.45 am.

the location was ideal for my visit. The food on offer was of a good standard.

I found the soup of the day to be tasty but needed to be hotter when served. I was disappointed to find black mould between the tiles in the shower and the extraction fan did not seem to be working. I also noticed that there was what looked like spots of blood on the wall next to the bed, the walls need to be cleaned.

We were stopping here for 1 night after getting back from Denmark but we asked them the night before if they'd be able to store our luggage for the day before check in while we went to Denmark for the day. This wasn't a problem at all and was such a big help as we didn't have to lug our bags around! Each reception member we met was so friendly and polite. The room was just what we needed, a lovely bed with an extra pillow each if needed and a good bathroom with a strong shower.

Nice clean room. worth the money for the stay

Already communicated through booking that 2 other guests would be coming and that guests names should be added as the person that room was booked under wouldn’t turn up. This was all agreed with the hotel. As my guests turned up there was unnecessary discussion that its not allowed to be done this way. However the lady did end up saying she can allow it just this time but this should of been clearly communicated before hand.
