Very central and good for parking

conveneient situation near the rail station and a ten minute walk to the cathedral or into town (and its a nice railway station, not a dodgy area). overlooks the river. rooms in good condition. bed comfortable. no noise from other rooms.guests. everything in good order. norwich is delightful, especially if you like churches or river walks.

the tacky plastic sign at the front the hotel is not really in keeping with the quality of the hotel. the pub across the water is quite loud. i thought i liked 80s classics, but now i have developed a burning hatred. also the police go round the ring road quite frequently with sirens blaring. other than that, it was fairly peaceful. the reception is not permanently manned.

I liked its location to both the city and the train station-as i travelled by train, that day. The room was relatively quiet from outside Nosie despite being on a main road.

There was a side table lamp smashed on the 'roof' outside my window-it should have been 'mine' and in the room for me to use to read etc The decor is looking...'tired' it needs a re-paint, as the whole place is looking 'dated' especially now the 'old' facilities like dining room appear to no longer being used, therefore less access to staff if required.

what excellent value for money. !!! Jessica was super sweet, excellent location and although outside doesn't look too inviting - the rooms were great ( we had booked 2 double rooms) beds very comfy, super clean and had everything you need. parking isn't great but at least we had a space. we had to get up early to move the car which wasn't great after a late night out but as I said at least we had a space given its location. the station hotel will definitely be our go to for an overnight stay in Norwich. close to train station, bars etc lovely riverside walk and would recommend the red lion along the river for great beer garden and atmosphere. all in all pleasantly surprised given the cost. 100% recommend.

curb appeal could be better as it let's the inside down. rooms and interior very clean and modern

Location was excellent, about two minutes walk from the railway station. The hotel was clean and quiet, I was travelling for work so needed to get a decent night's sleep without being disturbed and that was no problem.

The free WiFi is patchy, in the first room I stayed in (11) I couldn't get a signal and in the second room I stayed in (14) it was OK but dropped out a number of times. It didn't bother me as I was not working from the room but for business travellers dependent on connectivity it may be a problem.

They were very accommodating as i checked in at 9pm and I was leaving at 4.45am the next morning as just book here as it was next to train station. Was not expecting en-suite bathroom and coffee making facilities in room. They even provided an alarm clock.

Only had overhead main light in room so while watching TV b4 bed, was either in darkness or really bright light. They need to put a bed side light that clips onto headboard in there.

Very surprised by this hotel- usually stay in Premier Inn or Travelodge for work but everything was fully booked. I ended up with the last room- A tiny little single for around £50 and wasn't expecting much. The room was really clean and comfortable and the ensuite was immaculate. Great value for money (hotels in Norwich are far more expensive than usual from my experience) would really recommend for a work trip.

Had a nice enough stay for one night. Never saw any staff as key was left for me. Room was very clean and comfortable for the price not bad at all. Everything I needed for a one night stay for work. Would stay again.

Room was a bit warm but it was a hot summers night so can’t really blame that on the hotel. Shower was a bit small and a little slippery underfoot but again for the price was manageable

A lovely little hotel right next to Norwich train station (less than 5 min walk) Lovely spacious room, comfortable bed and shower had everything you need. Person at reception was very helpful in reccomending local food places.

No food facilities on site, factor that into your budget as you will need to bring food with you. No cooking facilities in the room to compensate.
