Kings Arms Hotel Ebbw Vale

The hotel is great, the staff member who greeted us was very friendly. Fridge/freezer in the room along with kettle, plenty of tea/coffee available if wanted and Biscoff biscuits too! Location was just across the bridge from town, walk to town centre was easily less than 10mins. The bar is no longer in use, so no noise issues to worry about.

The car parking with space for 6 or so cars was on the large pavement frontage, although there was a large car park about 50m up the road. The route through the hotel isn't great due to the bar no longer being in use, but its still clean and tidy so fine for most travellers.

clean and tidy the owner very friendly as were the staff everything you need for tea and coffee. located in a wonderful location fabulous views of the mountain and only a 5 minute walk to the town centre with a range of clubs and pubs serving fabulous food and drink or a choice of quiet family cafes and restaurants a short drive away will definitely be back thank you to all who made me feel very welcome

I couldn’t fault it extremely good value for money

The hosts were very welcoming. There is a bar now for those who wish to have a drink. Don't go by the outside appearance as the rooms are nice. Been there before so knew what to expect. Fridge/freezer and microwave in all the rooms

Bed mattresses in our room are due to be changed as part of the upgrade, so we had to sleep on the old ones. Not the best sleep. Breakfast is not included in the booking, but a continental breakfast option would have been much appreciated.

The staff are AMAZING and will go out of their way provide anything extra to make your stay even more comfortable. The room we stayed in was more than adequate with clean sheets and towels provided. Nice and quiet. The hotel is currently being refurbished and all the changes being made will make the place feel even more like home once completed. The rooms are cleaned daily with bru material provided at no extra cost 😁

There's nothing to dislike it is what it is

A fantastic place to stay - simple but comfortable room, well located in south Wales for day trips hiking in the Brecon Beacons etc. The owners were absolutely amazing and the main reason I recommend: they were friendly, welcoming and were really kind to resolve problems since my booking had been accidentally placed for the wrong weekend! There is a nice little bar at the premisis too, open I think Friday to Sunday.

Very affordable, comfortable beds and tea / coffee / fridge facilities in room. Spacious room. Free parking outside.

At the moment it is being refurbished but we hadn't realised, so the pub itself isn't open and we had to go up the fire escape staircases. There wasn't loads of options further into town for food or pints. Also no soap or hand towel in the bathroom (there was a container in shower but empty unfortunately) but still overall a very lovely stay especially for the price

It was good value for proce, staff was super noce and helpful. Room was clean and i like that it had fridge-freezer and a microwave as well as kettle. Well done. Building is old and in need of renovation but inside of the room was all good.

Pub and bar were closed, communal area badly need refurbishment and also rrception is closing at 10pm but this was the cheapest hotel that had rooms so i was positively surprised that i had confortable stay. Room had slight smell of tobacco.

Great friendly place to stay,the rooms where spotlessly clean and good value.the bar only serves bottles at the moment which was no problem to us at all,the couple looking after the place where great,unfortunately we where a bit to slow to book for the same dates next year or we would have definitely booked again no problem 10/10

Quiet location with comfortable rooms. The Rooms have recently been refurbished and come equipped with a kettle, tv, fridge and a microwave. Currently the pub is only open on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So during the week no food is available(including breakfast). There are places to eat within walking distance.

Friendly welcome and came to help with our bags from the car. Rooms were very clean and tidy and a lot larger than a usual travel lodge/ premier inn. Very quiet location and free parking just outside. Bedding was fresh and smelt lovely and clean.

One of the railings was a little loose so can do with tightening up but no real complaints!
