Super 8 by Wyndham Chester East

The last 6 weeks i stayed at Premier Inn. The stay at the Super 8 Chester East, was excellent, the room was comparable, for size, bed at super 8 was the same size and as comfy, The amenities in the room were great, and at reception were brilliant, to be able to get snacks, drinks even pizza, amazing. Maybe a little thing, the pillows were a little soft, but that maybe personal taste. This is the future of affordable a hotel staying coupled with quality.

As it is still a new refurbishment everything worked and was new, only regular maintenance will ensure that stays that way. The room / bathroom wasn't as clean as some hotels, but by no means mucky, however it was cleaner than hotels I have stayed at twice the price, and again that maybe more about my nature, and a neat freak.

Really impressed with the look and standard of the hotel. Very modern and clean. Rooms were spacious and had great facilities for a short stay. The hotel is in the motorway services area but it was so quiet and right next to the man services where you can grab food and drinks etc. Hotel itself has a small bar and serves pizzas and a continental style breakfast. The staff were so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Really easy access to Liverpool airport, Cheshire Oaks and lots of other places of interest. We especially loved Ellie who was on reception. So warm and friendly and helpful. Would definitely use this place again

The rooms were lovely. Newly refurbished I would say. The beds were SO comfy, I wanted to take the mattress home! Nice big shower. The breakfast was better than I was expecting. The girl that was there was super chatty and nice and made a point of speaking to my girls. Considering it’s in a service station I didn’t hear any car noise. The room was a good size for 2/3 people and pretty clean. Very handy location. Only about 15 minutes from Chester zoo.

The man who checked us in was pretty disinterested and didn’t really explain anything to us. The room was a bit cramped with 4 of us in there and the trundle bed out. The shower screen was awkward when you have to shower your kids. Difficult to get round without soaking the floor. Under the bed was VERY dusty. We only noticed this because the kids got under there and were covered when they came out. No cooked breakfast option included.

We have been staying for at least 10yrs and it has always ideal for what we want to do. Just off the motorway, ideal for shopping at Cheshire Oaks. Better now a little coffee shop has been added.

The only thing I found quite bizarre there was no where to hang any clothes. If you are using the accommodation for going anywhere special and you are taking an evening dress or something special to wear there was no where to hang it and no where to put anything e.g. toiletries, underwear etc. Only 1 chair to sit on so it means the other person sitting on the bed. It was a lot better when the rooms had a small table and 2 bucket chairs so you can relax if you want to stay in your room

I really enjoyed speaking with the manager of the establishment; Katie. Not only was she highly professional and courteous, but she was incredibly positive, warm, and friendly. I would love to revisit the hotel and see her again, as she was a fantastic representative for the brand. Although slightly dear, the newly refurbished hotel was spacious, clean, well decorated and comfortable to stay in.

The price is slightly dear, but not poor value for money. The location is satisfactory. Situated at the service station, there are minimal amenities nearby and you have to travel a bit in each direction to get anywhere, but as it is situated directly on the motorway, getting to where you need to be isn't too time-consuming. A microwave in the hotel rooms would have been a preferable addition.

We stayed for just the one night and only had breakfast with you. The food was nice and Ellie came out with some pan au chocolat which had been freshly baked. Very nice. Ellie was welcoming, friendly and genuine and was incredibly understanding when I rushed back 15 minutes after checking out as I'd left a ring in my bedroom. The ring means a lot to me and she promptly let me back in the room where I was able to retrieve it. She was very kind as I was clearly emotional about the situation and extremely relieved to be reunited with it! Sue on the night time shift (and the person she was training) were also friendly and helpful, especially given that we'd arrived at midnight after a four hour drive.

Although I didn't really use the TV much, the volume only worked on certain levels - it seemed to be every other level. This was a bit odd. The shower pressure was a bit weak and a blanket in the room would have been a nice add on, as I tend to feel the cold. Maybe a bottle of water in the room would have been a nice touch.

Lovely stay. The room was beautifully clean. Modern heating and door systems. Tea and coffee in room ready for us. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful. McDonald's, Costa, spar and whsmith over the road. Perfect location to stay before our visit to Chester zoo the following day.

The only thing that was disappointing was the noise from the above room through the night so we had a very unsettled night although this is no fault of the hotels. The bed was a brilliant size but the mattress very firm for our liking but this is our personal preference.

The decor amazing Staff amazing! Good variety for breakfast Very clean ! Great size room Bathrooms great and very clean 100% recommend if needing somewhere to stay in that area!

Only issue I had was late at night I'm.not sire what had happen we were in the room at the very end of the hall where outside the was metal spiral staircase which I think kids had accessed sounded like there was bars been hit against it and could feel the vibration, lasted for minutes then silence . Really this is just nit picking as I can't fault the hotel at all

The room was spacious and well-furnished. It had all that we needed for an overnight stay. Check-in and out were both quick and easy. Disabled parking is available right outside the door. Great that the twin beds were in a separate room.

Only one mug for 3 adults. We feel what is available for breakfast should be clearer, as it implied there would be some hot food to choose from, but this was not the case. If breakfast wasn't included in the price, we would have gone elsewhere, it was fresh but basic.

Lovely hotel very modern the staff were brilliant couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect 👌, easy to visit Chester from the location. Would definitely recommend A+++. Hopefully, they will be opening in more locations in the UK as we would definitely use them.

There was nothing to dislike, the only complaint would be is they didn't have designated parking but it was in the motorway services so there was plenty of room and it's free when the staff entered our registration number into the hotel computer.
