Malibu Hotel

I didn't quite catch the landlords name but he was very friendly and helped me with my issues regarding where to safetly store my rollator that I need to use. I booked in earlier than the 2pm slot so was caught without loo rolls bless him, I texted him while I was out and when I came back there were 2 rolls on my bed, thank you. The room itself ( 3 ) was a lovely small double and there are plenty of plug sockets which is a great bonus. As you can see from my photos there's also a long mirror which is great. The bed was clean and comfy with 4 pillows, I slept upside down as I like sleeping near an open window oh which has a lovely blind and has privacy screening on the actual window. The bathroom was spotless and the water was nice and hot for my bubble bath ( I only have a shower at home so this is a plus for me ) which also has an over head shower for those not wanting a bath ( personally I think you're mad if you hate baths lol ) . I'm not sure if they do serve breakfast as I usually eat out when on my holidays. I had a fantastic time and went to celebrate the Queens 70th Jubilee, such a lovely day and the tower was mesmerising. All in all 10/10 and I'd def come back if I can have room 3. Thank you. Ps I forgot to mention there's also free wifi.

Sadly the weather the next day, I was hoping to spend today walking around St. Annes and some shopping, but it poured it down so I came home instead. Ob this is not down to the B&Bs fault lol. There's nothing not to like.

Price was quite cheap so was expecting just basic conditions. Room was fine with basic amenities tea, coffee, tv etc. Had a chest of drawers as well as wardrobe which you dont find in Travel Lodges etc. Bed was very comfortable with big comfy pillows and a thick comfortable duvet. Had bath and shower in the en suite. % minute walk from the Promenade, the Tower and the Winter gaerdens. Although the hotel is on a main road and my room was at the side of the building just off the main road, with the windows shut you couldn't hear the traffic. All in all couldn't fault the place.

Toilet was squeezed into the corner off tha bathroom. Could have done with a bit moreroom

Great communication from booking. Asked if I could leave my luggage somewhere because we had something booked at 2 pm which was check-in time. Hotel instantly replied and said we could check in at 12. When I arrived in Blackpool I had a message off them to say my room was ready before 12. Arrived at the hotel greeted by a lovely guy (sorry I didn’t get your name) shown where my room was and given the keys. Lovely room nice and clean. No complaints from me I will definitely be back again

room was quiet, neat, good supply of tea and coffee, towels were fluffy and the bed was comfortable.

the door was locked and no instruction that I was to go to bar over the road to tell them i was there. The shower was cold and no breakfast.

This is just a cheap room, with everything you need, including tea and coffee. No frills, clean enough. Very friendly staff. An amazing location. Just what we wanted. got 25% off voucher for the bar over the road; ended up just £3 per pint :-)

Just had to phone a mobile number to get in. But the chap was there in seconds, so no real issue.

Was told our bags would be in our room when we check in but they wasnt Had no bin to put rubbish in Towels had unknown white marks not laundry residue on and bleach stains Part of bed was broken Tiny amount of hand wash left in bottle Tricky to flush the toilet Wasnt able to have a late morning sleep on 1st day as cleaners was very noisy outside our room Yet the day of check out nowhere to be seen

Great location for a clean, good value, room in Blackpool. You normally need to ring the telephone number, on the door, then a nice chap rushes to let you in and give you your key. Apparently, he owns a couple more hotels and the bar across the road; which is also worth a visit; once you've dropped your bags off.

Nothing flash but a clean and comfortable hotel in an ideal location to enjoy a night out in Blackpool with lots of bars and clubs nearby. Check in/out was super easy and the hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the water front and train station. Good value. My group all said we'd be happy to stay here again

It's in a very lively area so wouldn't be great for anyone wanting to stay somewhere that is quiet on a night

The hotel is in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk from the main attractions and bars in Blackpool. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to help you. If you’re looking for no a no frills place to spend the night I’d recommend the Malibu, I would definitely stay here again.

Our room had a small hole in the ceiling and when it started raining water was coming through and wet one of the beds quite badly, but once we informed a member of staff this was dealt with immediately, the bed was moved and had fresh bedding put on and the leak was sealed, we were also given a free drink from the bar.
