Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi

My room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The location is great nearby many malls and the museum. staff are nice and respectful.

The breakfast was below average. The scrambled egg in the buffet has no taste. When I ordered Omlete it was not impressive. I saw the Omlete chef handling and cutting vegetables with his bare hands pressing extra water from whatever with no gloves. touching everything else including his nose. It was disgusting! so after COVID-19, we learned nothing about hygiene.

Excellent hotel. Good staff. Great size rooms. Rooftop restaurant was amazing.

Only thing that let it down was the buffet breakfast which was slow to be refilled. Overall a great place to stay.

I was pleased with the convenient location, which made it easy to access nearby attractions and amenities. The breakfast and dinner provided were of high quality and offered a variety of delicious options, enhancing my overall experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel.

To improve the hotel experience, I recommend offering more options for lunch to cater to a wider range of preferences. Additionally, the layout of the toilets should be reevaluated to ensure a more convenient and spacious design for guests, especially considering the tight condition of the WC fixtures.

The atmosphere is great. The staff are super friendly and always put on a smile. There is a Michelin-selected restaurant at the facility. The facility is what you can expect from a Meridien. Definitely would reconsider in the future.

Noise can be heard because the doors are close to each other. The corner rooms are gloomy and would be better if have better lighting. Also, it would be better if windows could be opened. The rooms we booked were far, and not as we booked because of availability, we booked a bigger 2 single beds room that we replaced by a 1 double bed.

We stayed here on a two day stopover to Abu Dhabi on our way elsewhere. The hotel is really well located in the old town area with lots of restaurants, and shops within very easy walking distance. Staff were all super friendly and very helpful. We were always greeted with a smile and extra attention to our 4 year old with high fives all around. Our room was fantastic and we were upgraded to a suite - which was one of the biggest rooms I think we've ever stayed in! It had a nice little kitchen area with some basic appliances which was also great. The pool is fantastic and a great relief from the hot Abu Dhabi weather. It could perhaps do with a little more shade given the heat but there are lots of sunbeds and umbrellas to rest under.

Our only issue - which is very specific to us - was that the breakfast buffet was unable to well cater for my son and I who are coeliac. I asked at one stage about gluten free options and staff seemed a little confused. But we managed to make it work with the options available. Other than that the buffet was fantastic and my husband enjoyed the extensive pastry options!

The staff was great and so sweet to us, we got a see view deluxe room even though we reserved a le royal meridien room. All we had to do is ask if it was possible and we got it. The breakfast was outstanding and the dinner was also delicious but it was an in-hotel restaurant not a buffet. You only go by the menu. The room was big and clean, the bathroom as well.

The website says it has a spa, bowling, indoor swimming pool, and activities of all kind... Non was correct. You only eat and sleep in this hotel because the weather was 55 Celsius outside for the outdoor pool and that's it. We could have reserved another hotel for the same price and gotten much more out of the hotel... So I would recommend it but only for those who doesn't plan to stay in the hotel. We had an 11 month baby and we couldn't stay out all of the time so it was boring for us.

We throughly enjoyed our evening meals. Having gone for the half board option there as still a good variety of dishes to chose from. The menu also updates each Monday so make sure your favourite dish is still there! We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast which has a good range of options. The room was spacious. The gym was good and well equipped with towels and infused water to keep hydrated.

The Amalfi restaurant wasn’t open, this was advertised but still it would have been nice to try.

I felt the staff went beyond their required level of service to make me more than comfortable and welcome. For instance, a. the breakfast dining room staff were offering to bring me breakfast at my table, when in fact I could easily serve myself from where the food was located. b. the cleaning staff in the rooms repeatedly, in more than friendly tone, asking if there was anything else they could do after cleaning the room spotlessly clean; also engaging in friendly banter as they cleaned; and talking very well of the hotel. c. the front desk staff stayed with me when there was a delay in my funds coming through for final settlement of the bill. In life, a true friend stays with you when you are at a low point...not when you are at the high point. They even offered me water and coffee and cookies....true friends indeed.

Very small detail: a usb charging port on the power plug in front of the work table in the room.

Room is spacious. Location wise, the hotel is perfectly situated just near the city centre but have the privacy needed for couples. The swimming pool is huge.

The room service breakfast menu could be a little bit more detail. We ordered "Continental Breakfast" based on what we "guessed"; there is no breakdown on what consists of continental breakfast. I believe an additional explanation on the TV screen will be perfect. And while we are on this subject, an additional "America Breakfast" wouldn't hurt.

Breakfast was perfect, location is ok it gets full though but if the weather wasn't so hot it's perfect as you can opt to eat outside..

Dinner or lunch choices was only market kitchen that time and we are already on our swimsuits so we cant really go out kindah too pricey, but it's ok also food takes time but I guess it's because they prepare as you order..
