Room was a genuine cave.

Goreme has been massively overdeveloped. The Kelebek is now a conveyer belt of Americans, Chinese And Russians. Not very appealing. Good food and service is way better in the other Restaurants without the unattractive international patina.

The hotel itself is really beautiful with lots of smaller terraces that overlook the entire Göreme, with chimnies and everything. The rooftop terrace is perfect for star gazing at night or watching balloons at sunrise. The staff are truly wonderful, attentive, and helpful with all the information, advice and tips they gave us about our stay. They organized the Green tour sightseeing, the ATV sunset ride and the balloon ride with a very reliable company. The rooms are very clean and tidy and cleaned daily, and towels are also replaced on a daily basis. The hotel's restaurant Happena has delicuous food. Breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. Water, coffee and tea are free for guests. The pool view is amazing and there are always enough clean towels for sunbathing. We highly recommend this hotel and would surely stay here again. Thanks, Kelebek, for a wonderful stay! 😊

The pool is not heated so the water is quite cold, but we didn't mind it much because it was super hot during the day so it was actually quite a good refreshment. Water taps in rooms seem to have wrong markings- red dots are actually for cold water, and blue for hot, at least that was the case in our room. But it's really a tiny thing, not even a problem.

Beaultiful Location, magnificent view, all receptionist (Onur, Seacer, Fateh) - so helpful, soothing spa, lavish and luxurious suite with a nice Turkish antique style interiors feeling - with awesome balcony view.

Restaurant - food was ok ok. Breakfast Spread was not wow. Staff was not so cooperative with our dietary requirements.

Incredible location, beautiful views. Our balcony was amazing. The staff went above and beyond for us and made our experience wonderful, with so many helpful tips and special extras. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the afternoon of our last day when we relaxed in the library, enjoying the views, and were kept refreshed with offers of local apple tea and snacks from the wonderful Bulewt. Everyone was so friendly and kind to us and we will definitely be returning! Our stay was absolutely perfect.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kelebek Special Cave Hotel during my vacation with my girlfriends, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we stepped into the reception area, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire experience. The staff at Kelebek Special Cave Hotel went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always ready to assist with any requests. The room itself was a sanctuary of luxury and tranquility. Impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, it felt like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided were top-notch. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's breathtaking views of Cappadocia's valley. Waking up to panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscapes was truly a treat for the senses. Whether enjoying breakfast on the balcony or unwinding with a glass of wine in the evening on the terrace, the scenery never failed to mesmerize me. The services of the Hammam is also exceptional. The Hammam area was pristine and inviting, perfect for relaxing and just switching off, further enhancing our overall experience. Town was a short walk - literally less than 10 minutes!

- Staff were exceptional and super helpful and friendly and helped with advice during my stay and interaction with the balloon company. They helped with my suitcases both on arrival and departure - The hotel is really beautiful & unique with lots of smaller terraces and gardens that overlook the entire Göreme, with chimnies and everyhting and the rooftop view was beautiful. The resident dogs Whisky and Tequila were so wonderful & friendly especially when you miss your pets from home and made it feel homely. - Room was stunning and staff came and lit my fire for me nightly for me which was lovely and made the room feel really warm and cosy and room servicing was done daily which was great. - Location was central and close to the town. Everything was walking distance. - The Sultan Cave Hotel which is connected to Kelebek has a wonderful restaurant Seten which I ate at twice and the view, staff and food was amazing along with the rooftop terrace. Beautiful hotel - design and layout - with so much attention to detail. Pool was great for a refreshing dip and area was lovely with the option for privacy in seating areas. Hammam and spa was excellent and the staff were so professional and caring. All staff we interacted with were brilliant and couldn’t help enough. View of the balloons on communal terrace is good and was not crowded at all (as the balloons move with the wind the view from your hotel shouldn’t be a priority, book a ride or tour to guarantee getting closer). Breakfast at the hotel was great, but the best surprise was the option to join a farm breakfast in Pigeon Valley complimentary to hotel guests. Many of the day tours stop here for lunch, but going for breakfast meant we could eat at our leisure, and learn more about the area from the people who live there in a much smaller group. While many hotels in Cappadoccia will give you something you’re looking for and you shouldn’t worry too much, I would highly recommend Kelebek and wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

It was worth all the money spent! the location is perfect - each morning you see the balloons next to you, the view is wonderful at night and in the day, everything is close in terms of restaurants and shops. we were be car and there were places every evening to park it (not on the territory of hotel though which might become a problem in high season). the room was so beautiful, and comfy and warm. the fireplace was also a very pleasant addition. the staff helped with everything- booking tours, payments, Pcr tests and were all very friendly and nice. the restaurant had very tasty food , served quickly, and we didn’t even have to go somewhere to another place and had complete rest in the hotel in the evening.

The hotel was lovely and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions and offer suggestions for things to do in the area. Yusuf was kind to make sure we had a lively stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. The spread was varied and plentiful, with lots of fresh fruits, pastries, and traditional Turkish dishes to choose from. We especially enjoyed the garden and the tea on the terrace with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. Overall, I highly recommend Kelebek Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Cappadocia. The location is great, the staff are wonderful, and the breakfast is simply amazing.
