Silver Beach Resort

Beautiful place to stay. Amazing beach, amazing food and staff are lovely. Get one of the "standard" rooms rather than "economy" as the standard rooms are nicer and more comfortable and closer to the beach. Perfect location right in the middle of lamai.

Nothing major but cleaning is done every 2 days but its not a big deal as you can ask for clean towels and toilet roll ect.

Location was perfect with all accomodation just a few steps to the beach and very trendy beach bar/restaurant. The boutique cute little infinity pool is the only one along the beach which is literally on the beach. Whole experience was superb. Well done Silver Beach staff & not forgetting Phon - the masseuse (hope I spelt her name correctly - sorry if not). I've never had thai massage before and I had 2 during my 4 day stay. She and the other ladies are highly skilled and tireless. The massage area is overlooking the beach and its a huge plus point. The area itself is quiet in the eve but you can sit safely on the beach and listen to the waves lapping the shore while stargazing. I am solo female traveller and I will be back... it was a dream of a place - one of the best soft sandy beaches, kept clean. Simply stunning.

Nothing I didnt like personally. I ate in the evening at a few places along the beach front. Most close around 8pm apart from Crystal Bay Yacht Club at opposite end. Little more expensive. So if you are looking for intimate, romantic, quiet, safe place where you are not hassled - this is the place to be as I could see from the many day visitors where were not lucky enough to be staying in this part of Koh Samui.

Extremely well located on a beautiful beach - fantastic pool area which allowed easy flow to both the beach and the bar/restaurant area. Great massages and overall very good value for the sea front rooms - definitely will return when next visiting the island!

One should, if possible, upgrade to a sea front room - our teenage children stayed in a garden room which had comfy beds but the furnishings were tired and it was dark and not very appealing. If not possible don't be too concerned as you will be spending all your time on the beach or at the pool!

The staff were lovely, family run place with an amazing swimming pool right on the beach. We stayed 1 week and ate all our meals at the restaurant which served a good variety of delicious meals. Loved the mango shakes and massaman curry, but also ate pizza and club sandwich, all great. Highly recommend this place. You can catch a tuk tuk or taxi to Chaweng (400 baht) or Lamai (300) if you want more action, but really, this is a place for total relaxation.

Everything. We had 2 x deluxe rooms and 2 sea view. Proximity to the pool, pool bar (with a fantastic vibe) and stunning beach is perfect for a family of all ages (we had a 9 month old grandson, 14 year old twin boys and 21 year old). We loved the place completely. The staff are kind. The massages superb. The food great. The views stunning. The sand soft. Sea warm and clear. Best hotel on that beach. Even better than 5 star down road and better than yacht club. Next time we come to koh samui we will stay all 2 weeks here. Paradise. Only thing we were disappointed about is we had already booked 2 other hotels so we could explore different areas but deeply regret this now.

The bar closes at 8pm do you can’t get a drink after that other than a beer in your bedroom fridge. Would be better if they had just 1 bar staff until 10 or 11pm so could relax into the evening. Order at the bar during those 2 hours then so don’t need table service. Just a suggestion but something we heard other people say too.

Lovely beach and bar with reasonable priced food and drink. Happy hour was great. The room was lovely, spacious with our own patio area. Sat there playing games in the pouring rain and stayed dry. The staff were amazing. The guy that fixed a light for us and helped ensure the TV stayed connected after a storm deserves a raise. That guy was awesome. They sorted out a day trip and transport for us. Really easy. Would definitely come back again.

The lovely bar and restaurant closed at 7pm. Too early.

The resort is family run for 20 years! Staff inc cleaning , maintenance and restaurant staff are all super friendly and always wanting to accommodate any issues you may have . I had such a lovely three weeks here and you wont find a more beautiful beach in the whole of Koh Samui. I rode around the whole island on a moped to find something that competes with crystal bay and there isn’t. It’s magical place to stay. It’s not five star and is priced accordingly. I will be going back for sure next year.

The room was new with a view of the pool and sea, could walk onto beach and have a massage within 3 metres.

I loved that the hotel did recycling but it was right as you enter the residential part of the hotel which is a little off putting. The grass was dry and yellow and could have been watered to add to the beauty of the space.

The beach and staff at this place are amazing! Staff can book activities and are extremely friendly and helpful! The restaurant is amazing with great food and a nice breeze and a great view. Rooms are superclean and spacious!

Closing time of the bar and restaurant should be a little later since the vibe there is so nice 🙃

First, anyone would love the walking distance to the beach, of course on a nice day you get crystal clear waters and if the weather is bad, there’s nothing. Staff were very nice and helpful, you can rent a motorbike here, even the owner helped us when we wanted to stay for a few more days, food is great, it’s just a nice place to chill and have a holiday! If you don’t expect to stay in the room for a long time, the facilities are amazing.
