Phranang Place- SHA Extra

Big spacious room that was cleaned every day. shower is the best shower we’ve had in 10 weeks travelling SE Asia (power and temperature/ non-wet room). Balcony to chill out on. Air con is actually slightly too powerful. staff really friendly. Location is very good- about 10 minutes from beach, 2 mins from bars and restaurants but doesn’t have any late night bars or anything immediately next to it to keep you awake (may still hear traffic a bit if at front of hotel). we extended our stay from 2 to 6 nights.

Internet is slightly annoying having to sign in every time you come back to hotel, but the internet itself is good once on it.

room was clean, we were close to bars, restaurants and the beach no more than a 5 minute walk to any night market was about 20-25 minute walk and was very good. pool was really nice, perfect if you want shade just after midday like we did as it was roasting

our main gripe was that we just didn’t like ao nang, definitely a Magaluf type place, pillows also weren’t the best

The location was right in the centre. The staff was friendlier here. The rooms were nice and clean, not super luxury but not too bad either. Our room also had a balcony that opened right into the street and had a nice view of an island/rock.

There was no elevator so you have to kind of take your own bags up the stairs or the staff will take it up for you. But when we checked out it was too early, the reception wasn't open yet and so it was difficult to bring all our heavy bags down from the third floor.

Great location with morning sun and afternoon shade with a great view of the cliffs.

The breakfast, although offered at the beautiful 6th floor sea salt restaurant, was poor, with non-food white bread toast and a rubbery omelette. Rooms showing their age. Douche is difficult to use. Such an easy fix. Make it comfortable at no real cost!

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great! The chef and waitress were amazing and super kind to all of us! The location was in a great place, close to restaurants and bars! Everyday our room was cleaned and everyone did their best to make sure we were always happy! We would definitely recommend this hotel :)

The hotel offers comfortable accommodation with friendly service. They helped me book transport to Koh Samui and saved my money. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends ❤️

Good location /strong water pressure /very helpful and friendly staff.

No lift on one side of hotel /wifi and internet signal in rooms very weak. We're not happy with location of room booked because no lift, had to upgrade to room where there is a lift.

The location, the bedroom and swimming pool were good.

The pillows provided were terrible. They were too hard but the real problem is how thick they are. My husband and I struggled really bad to sleep on them. Also, it was quite dark in the swimming pool area as they didn’t turn on the lights there, only inside the pool.

Good location. Directly among shops and restaurants Even though along a busy road, it is quiet once the windows are closed. Nice balcony. Always a cool wind blowing and only in the cool morning there was direct sun. Nice view on the Aonang cliff. Nice pool directy next to a cliff, with daily monkey visits.

Hard, uncomfortable bed. Poor wifi.

The bathroom was very cute and I loved the design on the floor. There was enough space for two people to spread out. The balcony was good foo

I wouldn't recommend booking buses and transfers through the hotel. They can change the time if there are not enough people to go
