Saint Georges Hotel

The hotel is very well located, only 10 minutes from Zurich HB (main train station) and 15 minutes walk to FIFA Museum, Zurich Center or Zurich Lake. We had a double room with shared bathroom but this wasn't an inconvenient due to the fact that the bath is shared only by 4 rooms on a floor of 12 rooms. The room is big, clean, with TV channels in Deutsche, French, Italian and English. You have also a small sink in case you want to wash your hands or face without going to the shared bath. I would gave a 9 overall but after we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast (16 CHF per person) is definetly a 10 for this small but cosy hotel. Thank you for the stay!

great location, can wall from the train station to the hotel, it's only around 12 min or so, and from the hotel you can walk anywhere in the city, the center is very close and easily accessible. staff was friendly, instructions were very to follow (check in, check out, etc) and they were great with making a late checkin possible. the room was big enough for a few days, quite warm and comfortable for winter too. cleaning was done regularly and the shared bathroom didn't pose any problems.

I don't want to sound too fussy, but given the shared bathroom and short stay combination, a pair of slippers would have been highly appreciated. the biggest inconvenience here was the thin walls and noise from every direction (not outside, just the hallway and other rooms from all floors). the heating system creaked like hell if turned up so had to turn it down during the night to be able to sleep.

I booked a single room, and in many hotels these can be very small. However, the room was spacious and also clean and comfortable. There is a lift, and a hairdryer can be requested from reception. The staff were friendly and the check-in/out process was quick and easy. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Zurich Wiedikon station, and there are trains which go directly to that station from the airport. The location is quiet, but there are plenty of amenities (restaurants, a supermarket, etc) nearby. I would stay there again.

There is a residential block directly opposite the hotel so some net curtains or similar would be useful. At the moment, the only way to obtain privacy is to draw the heavy curtains or roll down the blind. A small fridge would be a great addition to the room.

This is one of the best places where I have stayed so far. The rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom and showers were spotless. The location is fantastic, close enough to the center but also located in a more or less quiet area. A station with trains to Zurich airport is located 6 minutes away on foot. I recommend adding the breakfast option to your stay, it's worth it. I would like to send a special mention to the staff. From the reception to the dining room, everyone was beyond helpful and kind. Looking forward to stay here again soon :)

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Saint Georges. The hotel is centrally located. Around the corner are several restaurants, shops and a supermarket. Within a few minutes you can reach all parts of the city by tram. The main station is about a 15-minute walk away. I checked in early, and the friendly staff gave me the option to switch a room and enter it already. I was pleased to receive an explanation about the hotel, the facilities and the surroundings. I was also helped with my route to other parts of the city.

The bathrooms are a little dated, but are clean and work great. The room I was in was not big, but sufficient for me. If you want a more spacious room and all kinds of super facilities, then you should look at another hotel.

The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience all the more pleasant. Notably, the room and shared showeroom I stayed in were clean, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. Additionally, the hotel's location in a serene and peaceful area added to its charm.

Regrettably, the hotel did not offer a hairdryer, which I found to be a minor inconvenience during my stay. Nevertheless, aside from this small drawback, everything else met my expectations and I had a satisfactory experience.

Quiet little hotel, very conveniently located a few blocks from my office. No frills, but clean and good value for the cost, particularly during busy summer months. Staff was friendly and helpful. Online check-in was super convenient. I appreciated having a fan already in the room, considering the heat.

The pillow was very flat and the mattress was quite firm, so I did not sleep as well as I would have liked. Next time I will ask for a different kind of pillow or an extra pillow to help me get comfortable.

The hotel is located off the main roads near a peaceful square (triangle) with a Greek cafe. Walkable to restaurants and shops and the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful to us. The rooms were clean and quiet, with a writing table.

The room was on the smaller side, with the sink outside the bathroom to fit everything. A bit cramped, but the space was used well enough. Recommended for short stays where you're often out of the hotel.

I traveled for work, I stayed in one of the single rooms of the top floor which have a shared bathroom, there are two bathrooms to share for about 10 rooms, though the beds are small they have a nice balcony and everything is very clean, the breakfast was also super complete.

Probably a bigger bed would be nice, but it simply doesn't fit in the room.

The hotel isn’t that big but the room I stayed in was spacious enough for me. I booked a solo room with a shared bath and the shared bathroom was surprisingly clean. There was a sink and a large mirror in the room.

Unfortunately, there was some construction going on in the neighborhood which woke me up at 7 in the morning after a late night at a concert. However, this is not something the hotel can do anything about.
