City-Hotel Ochsen

Very well designed, clean and comfortable room. Lovely lounge, bar and restaurant with tasty food for dinner and great breakfast. Walking distance from the lake for a nice evening or morning walk and not that far from the station

It was a bit cold in the room and it took me some time to figure out that aircon is not working well, so better to adjust radiator to higher temperature.

Location nd breakfast were excellent. The front desk, Andy and a woman whose name I don't know, were very helpful. I will recommend the hotel to future visitors to Zug. I have stayed at the park many times; prefer the Ochsen.

I would prefer higher bed with thicker mattress and a top sheet with light blanket rather than duvet---I know it would have been provided if I had mentioned it; forgot to.

Breakfast was continental and very good. location was beautiful bed was HUGE!

really expensive food and drinks, even in the cheaper bar area! Very noisy with passing traffic all night, as we had to have the windows open as the air con wasn't working, which was a real shame!

The breakfast was superb. The best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The smoked salmon, local cheeses, and cured meats were divine. The furnishings and finish of the room was humble and luxurious at the same time. The wooden aesthetic was perfect. Staff was exceptionally friendly.

Price was a little high for us but you get what you pay for

Very impressed by the baby items they had. On top of the baby bed, a changing mat, a diapers bin and a baby towel + shower gel. Never have seen so much little attentions. Very nice. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, enjoyable design, good breakfast and perfect location to visit Zug. Right in the centre of the Old Town. Highly recommend. Bed are comfy too.

Everything was good, nothing to address

We came with bicycles … it was great that we were allowed to park them inside (in a side building). This is a very ancient building - perfectly modernized while keeping the original structures in place. Wonderful breakfast, particularly the scrambled eggs. Very friendly staff.

Rooms and Breakfast are great, a little rustic but with a modern touch. Location perfect to go for a walk after work

While you can't hear any noise from outside the building the rooms next to you are hearable, but not so much that its very disturbing

Overly soft bed, just the one pillow and incredibly poor wifi strength and speed

Location is fab, breakfast also. I like the lounge area on the ground floor.

Plug in sink sometimes got stuck. No restaurant - but I did know this before coming.
