Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport

The beds are very comfortable. The restaurants offer good food at a reasonable price with friendly staff.

Reception was rather cold and unaccommodating especially because I booked with booking.com. They made it clear that if you want an early check-in one has to pay extra if you booked through booking.com. Room was dusty and A/C not working well even at max output. Looks like they are trying to cut cost where ever they can.

Very convenient good standard hotel within a short walk of the terminal exit.

I suspect my card and personal details were lifted by some low life at Radisson or Radisson’s tech has been hacked. Within a few days of my stay a very plausible telephone fraud attempt was made on me while I was still travelling - including a failed card transaction and a call posing as my bank’s fraud department. I didn’t fall for it but they had my card info, mobile and address - info I’d entered onto Radisson’s system a few days earlier. So…. don’t enter personal info if you check in on line. Obviously I have no proof but strong suspicions.

Hotel is directly linked to the airport, though it is tricky finding the route to reach it - especially the first time. Basically it's a 10/15 minutes walk inside the airport and a corridor links the hotel to airport. Hotel helpline gave me confused directions and I ended up taking the bus from outside the airport to another Radisson few kilometers away - that was confusing and exhausting. They need to put more detailed and clear directions on their booking confirmation. Breakfast was quite good - large buffet with many varieties, freshly prepared eggs, breads, cereals, cakes, fruits etc. Room was clean and very comfortable. Loved it!

Unclear directions to reach the hotel was the only issue. Everything else is perfect. It served my purpose of being at Zurich airport, as I had an early morning flight the next day.

Location, location, location. Comfortable room and quiet. Lunch menu was simple but tasty (3 of 4 were well-prepared) and dinner was very good and great service. (Tatiyana was exceptionally wonderful server at dinner!). I know from past experience that the breakfasts are outstanding (only Steigenberger in Germany are better) but quite expensive ($40pp! Yikes). Can‘t beat the ease of access to SWISS check-in!

We didn’t receive the bed arrangement that I booked, but we were too tired to get new room. Room was quite expensive.

The hotel could really not be any closer to Zurich Airport (ZRH) and the walking distance to the terminal is less than five minutes. In the other direction, its just a few moments more to trains, trams and busses and a huge food court with lots of options. A little further is The Loop with even more shopping and dining options. The room was big and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and despite a rather short night I slept very well!

It was not 100% clear when Checkin would start. Booking.com said 2pm, any other page and the official Radisson app said 3pm. Maybe you could streamline this to make sure people have the right time?

Having booked a last minute early flight for the day after, the Radisson at the airport was the obvious choice for us to maximise sleep time. You go here for its convenience in terms of airport services, not for the views. The room was cozy and incredibly well insulated in terms of sound/noise - our room was literally next to one of the big airport road-ramps and we could not hear anything from the noise outside. Delightful.

We did not have the chance to use the facilities at their full potential. Of course the room was on the expensive side, but that's to be expected if you want to be so close to (essentially _inside_) the airport

It was difficult to find the hotel from our particular arrival point, but not difficult to find after you’ve been there once. Showers are not designed very well. There’s no place to put shampoo or shower gel but the floor. Water easily sprays outside the shower. Towel hooks would be great. A floor towel and washcloths were not provided. The only way to view the room service or restaurant menu in the room is on the tv and there is no indication of that.

Location is great. You can get to the centre of zurich in ten mins. And I also travelled to outside of zurich which was also accessible from the the train station. It’s a fantastic location if arriving late or alone and worried about safety (although Zurich is v safe).

Gym could have been better and if there was a sauna it would have been even better. Another guest told me the sauna is under reconstruction but I did not validate this with the staff. There is another larger gym below the hotel which is part of the airport and accessible for a fee CHF 19

Excellent location as you are minutes from the airport and the train station. The rooms are now updated and the breakfast was decent as well. Rooms are also larger than the normal ones you would get in Zurich with very good isolation.

Would have been great if there was a 24 hour gym, the hotel one was in refurbishment so we were directed to use the Airport fitness which is not open 24 hours. Looking forward to see how the updated gym would be like once it opens

The location to the airport, train and shops is excellent, rooms were well presented, clean, surprisingly quiet being so close to airport, rooms were nice and warm 23°c on the control panel and a nice size, only had one meal in the bar area so can't comment on food much, what I got was fine. Would certainly stay there again if in Zurich, staff were friendly and helpful altogether a nice place to stay.

Nothing to complain about really, was only supplied with one bath towel which was funny as it a double room with two of us staying, got an extra from housekeeping though no problem . . . Only other thing that wasn't a problem for us but I thought strange was a see through window between bathroom and bedroom right beside the shower bath 🤔 I have never seen it before in any hotel and couldn't see the point of it to be honest as it left zero privacy between bathroom and bedroom. Apart from that quirk I have to say the hotel was a lovely place to stay and will hopefully stay there in future again.
