Ramada Encore by Wyndham Geneva

The room was very nice and included all we needed. Big comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom, spacious room. There is a football stadium near the hotel, but the room is really quiet. There are a shopping center and restaurants nearby. Please, pay attention that the hotel is placed not in Geneva, but in its agglomeration. So if you choose it due to the train station nearby, it's not a Geneva Gare. But the hotel send us a Geneva Transport Card, so we could use all public transport in the 10th district for free. We needed only 20 minutes to arrive at the city center. Also, pay attention that it may be difficult to find a product store on Sundays in Geneva.

The room was really nice, but the red sofa had some dirty spots. I think it was impossible to be cleaned.

The room was of Ramada standard, that is rather spacious, noise-isolated and clean. The bed was really LARGE and very comfortable. The receptionists were very effective. The hotel is situated out of the city centre noise, some 15 min ride by bus. A shopping centre is in the same building - very-very convenient to buy food on our return in the evening; closed on Sundays, as all shops in Geneva. Train station is one bus stop from the hotel. The hotel provides with free transport tickets for all the stay.

Tea an coffee sachets were not added regularly. Almost all coffee was decaf.

This hotel was adjacent to a complete shopping center La Praille Centre that offered all options you could possibly need during your stay ! Transportation options right outside the entrance to the hotel, bus stop that takes approx 25 minutes to downtown Geneva ! The hotel provided a full weeks transportation card for the both of us during our stay ! Nice touch. The hotel was quiet and clean and was perfect for our weeks stay. The parking garage was safe with plenty of spaces, our rental car was safe.

More options to hang up your clothes for a longer stay. The bathroom could have been larger.

The location was superb. Easy access into Geneva and surrounding areas. Bus stops outside for each trip. The hotel provided free local travel passes and the staff provided maps and details to access tourist spots.

Room: the picture of the room are exactly as it shown on the website: so very pleased. My room was on the third floors, the view from my widows; the train lines. The first impression! I was worried but amazingly I didn’t hear any noise. “ and yes they were trains passing by” Location: it is about 55mn walk and 20mn by taking the bus “D” from the centre… the free transport ticket around Geneva, from and to the hotel and airport very helpful. Breakfast: N/A as I didn’t opt for it. “I’m there for holiday so I didn’t want to set alarm to wake up for a breakfast served until 10am and thank god for that as I slept very nice until +10am during my stay… I needed that. Staff: I just met the receptionist at my arrival. She was just doing her job! So nothing bad or good to share.

Although that location was quiet in a zone industrial “stadium” just seconds of walk from the restaurant, the hotel has offered a free transport ticket “in Geneva and from/to hotel and the airport so I would say hope they will maintain that offer to motivate the guest…

Room was massive, clean, included a mini bar with coffee, tea, kettle and biscuits. Bed was massive and comfortable. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. The bathroom sink had a hair dryer, 2 cups, hand towels and a massive mirror. As well as the massive double bed with all the pillows, there was a big armchair. TV was in the room with standard channels. Desk, chair and plugs for anyone doing computer /laptop work. Wifi was decent in the room with no issues as a code was provided on checking. The hotel was attached to the Praille shopping centre so easy access to good food nearby including the supermarket, McDonalds, Subway, KFC, the coop restaurant and most importantly bubble 'boba' tea.

Not much to improve on.

Affordable overnight accommodation in Geneva. Very near the highway entrance to go to the airport & other places in CH & in France. The hotel is connected to a shopping center! Friendly staff.

I had difficult time finding the hotel in the evening.I didn't know it was inside the shopping center of the Praille. I was looking for a distinctive building & my GPS kept saying arrived.So I called the hotel & a kind receptionist explained that I have to enter the underground parking of the shopping center.

The breakfast is amazing. Property was clean. Very accessible location. Bus stop is right in front of it. The entrance is on your right hand side (when facing the building).

My main issue is that the exhaust fan of toilet was not working. Basically no ventilation which made the stay very uncomfortable. I reached out to the staff but they said that the fan runs automatically. I can assure you that it didn’t run at all. I am not sure that this is the case with all rooms so please check with them before booking. The rotating door outside is a bit weird so if it gets stuck, use the speakerphone in front of it to contact the receptionist to open the other door for you.

-the room was cleaned every day, it was quiet although there was a railway next to the hotel. - big bathroom and comfortable beds - perfect temperature in the room even with the air conditioning off, we were there at the beginning of august - the staff of the hotel was nice and helpfull. We had an extra request and it was met before we arrived. There is someone at the reception 24/7. - close to the main train station, the hotel is situated between two train station and you can chose either one. It is only two stations and 7 min away from the main train station which saves you a lot of time rather than taking the bus. Good quality for the price. Taking into consideration the prices in Geneva 😅. Would recommend!

A minibar would have been perfect. Other than that no complaints.

We liked the room, the cleanness and also having an ironing machine as I asked for it. And the staff were so friendly

We got only one bottle of water for the whole stay, and when I asked for it they said it's a bottle per stay. Which is to be honest not reasonable, since the longer the stay the more the money paid so why to be provided the same of that with a shorter stay? However, on request we were sent a bottle in the last day as well. We were also somehow far from the center
