Best Western Hotel Rallye

My stay at the hotel was very adequate. The room was tidy, clean and the bed and shower have been spacious. The breakfast was simply amazing, with such a wide range of food and beverage choices, ranging from Muesli and local cheeses to champaign and smoked salmon. The staff was really helpful and friendly and I had no problem sleeping with open windows on a weekend (soundwise).

If I had to say something bad, it would be the fact, that there was no light on the ceiling, which made lighting in the evening quite weird. But thats really all there is to say in terms of negative feedback.

Iff you book the Executive class of rooms you get a huge room with plenty of space. Fantastic and never seen for this price. Also, check the Asia Fusion kitchen of the hotel Restaurant, interesting menu and very nice.

The only annoying thing was that some other guests were smoking inside their room so that the fire alarm got off. 🙄😳🙈 and kept some others awake or even worse woke some up 🙄🙈

Breakfast was OK, normal for this area. don't expect a big buffet. its self service with no extras, like fried/scrambled eggs and bacon freshly made. on the other hand the restaurant was fantastic in the evening.

The breakfast buffet. having to unpack cheese and ham from plastic wrapping. Ecologically speaking, this is a packaging disaster. so much plastic in my table after breakfast was not good for my conscious.

Large room with a balcony and very good amenities a welcome kit and a nice comfy bed. Very close to city center and free parking available.

Besides the hotel was in renovation, breakfast could be improved. It looks like the area where it is served is not cleaned.

Staff… amazing people. Extremely helpful. Second is location. Number of attractions within 1 hour drive. Close to good restaurants and food shops.

The hotel has seen its best times several decades ago. It is not expensive and not cheap. If you come in Covid time and would like to dine in their restaurant, it is better to book a table in advance. I would not recommend to take wok, if you do not like spicy food. Pad Thai is good but relatively expensive. If you like Thai food, my recommendation would be to order take away food from the restaurant on the opposite side of the road. If you wish a better view, ask room 53 or 41 and you get mountain view. Our friends asked to change the room at the reception and it was changed. Our room had a small fridge. If you need a supermarket, Migros is just 200 meters away. You can buy something for breakfast there. The breakfast at the hotel is a bit expensive - 18chd per person and not included in the room price.

We had a double room but only one set of towels. My wife informed the personnel but we did not get the towels. Our room was not cleaned on Saturday. When we arrived, we found a dried cockroach in our bed... A kettle was not working.

We arrived on Sunday when there was no one at the reception. We received clear instructions on where the keys located and how to get to the apartment. We found the room very modern, well designed, large and clean. We were pleasantly surprised. 😀

Hotel is near city center and just a short drive from Gruyere. Many parking places in the parking lot. Very good breakfast with local specialties like cheeses and meringues. Even some gluten free options. Good bathroom.

Breakfast could use some vegetables.

On weekends there are some parties close by. May have some noise problem if you open the window

Confortable and modern rooms. Restaurant was great. Shame it was closing after our first nught there for refurbishment.
