Staff efficient at all times. We were surprised that our room had floor heating. The safety deposit box was a nice touch and there is an added security with the room key. Hotel kindly kept our luggage after we checked out to collect later. The breakfast spread was attractively set out. The location was perfect and the bus stop about 7 minutes walk away.
A coffee machine in the room would have been a nice touch but then they do serve an excellent expresso downstairs..

Beautiful lakeside position. The soundproofing of the windows was good as the lakefront was very lively and so a bit noisy. Pleasant and multilingual staff. 10% off meals & drinks from 3 restaurants.
Just 1 small point - the limited toiletries for the price of hotel (just soap & shower gel, no shampoo, hair conditionner or creams)

The hotel is right on the waterfront in Ascona so it is lovely to look out over the lake from your room. The breakfast is very good with a big choice of breads, fruit, meats and cheeses.
Our room was quite small yet still quite expensive, probably paying for the beautiful view.

fantastic location with a beautiful view on lake maggiore. very good buffet breakfast. friendly staff at the restaurant. very clean rooms.
rooms are very clean but lack decor and warmth. Our bathroom had tiles from the 60s. our kids room was just plain boring. white walls not pictures. window facing a wall. The receptionist the day we left was pretty rude.
