Gwangju Aura Hotel

Near the subway and KTX Station. Large room. Very comfortable bed. Appreciated having breakfast included.

Lack of drawers and wardrobe space for putting clothes in, however, it had a clothes steamer and I left my clothes in my suitcase. The room is large and had a good shelf to put the suitcase so it wasn't really a problem.

On one hand metro and bus literally on doorstep, BUT, it is at least 1/2 hour to bus terminal to get intercity (wewent tea plantation, bamboo forest and even national oark in the east - 1 hour -although direct single bus.) So it is not a good location in terms of seeing Gwangju and surroundings

good location for local bus and subway.. but a bit far from intercity / express bus terminal. good breakfast and nice staff.

no electricity outlet near the bed. they provide a charging station near the bed, but it's not fast charging.. I prefer to use my own charger, but then I have to plug it in across the room.

Walking distance to Gwangju Songjeong station. Lots of local food. Breakfast which is both local and western is sufficient.

It's location is 15min taxi ride from centre of Gwangju. There is a subway line that also brings you into city centre too.

The hotel staff at the front desk was very kind and professional. Location was perfect_just in front of the KwangJu-SongJung KTX station. The styler in the room was useful to prepare my suit for the meeting especially on a rainy day. Breakfast was simple but proper_the lady working in the restaurant was also very kind.

The hygiene aspect_few hairs were found on the floor. But overall, it was a very nice stay. I will stay here if I visit the city again in the future. Thanks. All the best!

The hotel and rooms were stylish, modern and clean. The staff was quite friendly and accommodating, allowing me to wait in the lobby while waiting for my food to be delivered and ordering a taxi when I was leaving. They also restock the bottled waters in your fridge for free. I didn’t order the breakfasts included so I have no opinion on them.

The air conditioners were confusing. There is both a control panel and a universal remote that also controls the lights and tv which I didn’t learn until the second day. It also has a habit of turning off abruptly which can make the room sweltering in the middle of the night. The bedding was also inconvenient; there are no sheets, only a heavy blanket. Both this and the air conditioning forced me to wake up several times throughout my stay. There was also a mysterious hammering that kept ringing out in the mornings, further interrupting my sleep.

Location was great, very close to the KTX Gwangju Songjeong station! It is also located near the 1913 Songjeong Market which has many food options. Rooms were spacious, and the styler was great for refreshing clothes

Great location not far from both the airport and main train station in Gwangju. Very spacious room and bathroom. Nice fixtures in the bathroom. Great view from the hotel room window. Clean and modern looking hotel. Friendly staff. Free tea and coffee in the room. Excellent buffet style breakfast!

Super convenient for both the KTX train station and the airport. Excellent Korean breakfast buffet where even a vegetarian like me could get her tummy full enough to last most of the day. And such a comfortable room that I regretted only booking one night, and not being able to enjoy it more.

Breakfast was good, location was great for Gwangju station, staff was friendly, the room was clean, big and quiet, highly recommended.

Air condition was not working propertly. It was too cold and you could not turn it off.
