Gloria Inn Riyadh

After a long 10 hours drive, I checked in to Gloria Inn Hotel. It took me a while to reach the hotel as there was a lot of traffic in Riyadh. Check in experience through booking.com was smooth. Great advantage is the basement parking. The lobby was nice and the staff was friendly, they could speak English. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The mattress and pillow were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. The view was not great because there is just the main road. Wifi, Towels, Tea Bags, Dental Kits, everything was available inside room. The washroom was neat and clean. The shower worked flawlessly and hot water was available.

The only drawback is the location of the hotel which is in the old area and has lots of traffic

Fantastic location, many shops near by as well as a prime location near to the Grand Mufti’s mosque. It’s a gorgeous hotel, great hospitality, very clean and comfortable and the facilities were great too. There were many breakfast options and I would definitely recommend. My family and I were very happy.

Room is next to a highway, but soundproof window works wonder! Don't really feel the noise (a very weak low hum if you are very sensitive), but not disrupting my sleep anyway A functioning gym with enough range of equipment for simple work-out, but it only opens from 9-6 Walking distance to the Old Fortress and reasonable walking distance to the National Museum and Old Palace.

Not aware of eateries options nearby within walking distance, but there is an in-house quasi-Starbucks (which bears Starbucks logo and menu but definitely not the typical Starbucks vibe)

The staff were all amazing. Helpful, courteous, friendly. Hotel was clean with HOT water. Food offerings were tasty with good choices. Good amenities.

Traffic noise pretty constant even though my room was not facing the busy traffic flyover located in front of hotel. Interestingly, the dining room was exceptionally quiet despite facing the traffic. Breakfast was expensive compared to prices for lunch and dinner.

Breakfast is good and variety of food served on each day. Location is good. Lot of Indian resturants are available in the Batha area.

Room cleaniness is not upto the mark. which needs to be improved. Room sizes and facilities inside the room are not equal and sufficient. Fo example, In my room during my last stay in 3rd week of Oct'22, i have no chair for sitting instead sofa type chair. which is really discomfot while working on my laptop.

rooms slightly on the small side in comparison to other KSA cities hotel is kind of in an difficult location in terms of traffic flow. often we found ourselves dropped on the wrong side of the highway by the taxi/Uber and had to make a dangerous crossing by foot. location in the city is so-so for tourists. most activities will require a taxi/car except for historical stuff

The room was a good size and had all the basic amenities needed (although we only had 1 towel and 1 coffee cup, but when we asked they sent more). The bed was comfortable. Lulu grocery store within walking distance (although you have to cross a busy street without a light/crosswalk) if you are walking. Masmak Fort ress and Deera square are within walking distance.The staff was helpful.

The place was a little run down. While generally clean, the carpet was stained and old and there had obviously been water dammage in the bathroom (the bottom of the door was dammaged by water and the ceiling had water stains on it). It was a noisy location, because of the street outside, but nothing a good pair of earplugs couldn't fix!

Cosy beds, clean rooms, the breakfast we ordered was delicious and abundant , the service in the restaurant and hotel in general was good. Comfortable check in and check out.

Location is a bit tricky. The traffic jams in Albatha road in front of hotel is continuous and the shortcut routes behind the hotel is either very narrow or closed or maintained.

The staff were so friendly and allowed us a late checkout. The room was far nicer than we expected. The gym was good and the restaurant was cheap. While the location was good for the old town, it is a little far from the more modern parts of Riyadh but that is to be expected in such a big city.

The Wi-Fi was a little weak in the room.

This is a very comfortable hotel with hot water and well-appointed rooms. There is a cafe that serves good coffee drinks and an on-site restaurant. The concierge was very helpful and friendly. The location is good as it's near Masmak Fort but the neighborhood is quite local and restaurants are few and far between.

The front desk staff spoke almost no English and it was a struggle to get a simple answer to the question - when will my laundry be done.
