Parador El Faro

The staff was very friendly & helpful. Pool was great, Beds were comfy Restaurant was a plus but slightly pricey. Food was delicious!! Location was awesome

My room had an issue with water bugs...the flying ones yuck!! I had to buy bug spray. My brother & my nephew's rooms had no such issue. another thing I saw was room service was slacking for my room. Did they know of an issue with this room>? All we received were new towels, no toiletries - sometimes garbage was left behind. I would tie it up, to avoid bugs. When we asked the person that was doing housekeeping, about our service. they said someone else would be servicing us. that someone never came. It is a great place but retrain your cleaning dept.

The room was very spacious and clean. It had two queen beds, a working desk, open closet racks, a refrigerator and a coffee maker. Overall, we had no complaints from the room. Housekeeping was also regular. The staff at the front desk and around courteous and always available. There was a pool, courts and a few outdoor games including a ping pong table. The location was easily accessible with your own car (parking was included), and yet quiet. You could walk around the well-maintained property and enjoy the peace. There was a in-house restaurant El Bohio which served delicious meals!

The lighting options in the room were minimal. The nearest beach (CrashBoat Beach) was a 7min drive. We assumed that it was walking distance away. But, nevertheless we enjoyed the beach.

Amazing hotel with great surrounding views and facilities! We loved the pools, the hotel grounds, and the restaurant had amazing quality food. We actually wished we had arrived earlier at the check in time as the hotel is such a good place to relax. It is also only a 5 minute drive from Crash Boat Beach (not walkable due to steepness) so we were able to get there early and get a good parking spot. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and relaxed - they gave us advice on visiting the beaches and we were able to keep our bags securely there after checking out. There is also a vending machine and laundry area for guests. There are restaurants nearby to visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner (just be careful if driving to restaurants when it becomes dark - we were happier using the hotel restaurant)

The food at the restaurant was excellent as well as the service!

The water heater for the shower doesn't work well, I had to go to the lobby and the attendant told me that had to open it the opposite side for cold water and hot., also to open the water from the sink and let it run for awhile. Finally it worked! This year when I stayed I asked for the main building because in previous visits they gave me the rooms at the back of the hotel and in the morning( 5am ),when getting up for work there isn't any hot water for the shower.

The rooms were better and I was happy to get a refrigerator . I would be willing to pay a little extra for a microwave oven . Its a beautiful place and I post pictures on Facebook often

My 3rd trip at your hotel , understanding all you have been through since the hurricane Maria and COVID I am comfortable here . You might get a sign facing the airport and correct the mile marker on your website and associate vendors .

Not overcrowded , restaurant on site was amazing, very peaceful and serene, I like that no one bothered us. Came and go as I pleased and the grounds well kept and amazing.

Main pools to be cleaned daily at minimum, I didn't like that the water was mirky in the large pool. Pool water was tad cold to be expected this time around wish it had a pool warmer. Guests would love that.

Pool was enjoyable. The restaurant was a hidden jewel. You need to advertise that better. Food choices and prices were excellent.

The mold that was obvious on the wall and bathroom ceiling is a problem that needs to be addressed. The maid missed towels 1 day.

The check-in process went smoothly. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean and the staff worked hard everyday in order to keep the rooms clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The restaurant on site had very good food.

Wish the restaurant was open daily and wish there were more pillows provided. 2 pillows for a king size bed is not enough.

Location was great and the staff was pleasant .

Everything was great just concerned about the lighting in the areas outside the room . Pretty dark and almost fell. Tv had nothing to watch which I believe Netflix or Hulu to watch movies would be a nice touch.

The pool very good the restaurant Excellent.

The beds have to be changed matress got to go. pillow top must. Towels and sheets got go buy new sheets ones and sheets. other than that very good
