Hampton by Hilton Gdansk Airport

Good location, in general nice looking room, very clean. Air condition worked very good. Breakfast okay, but if I compare with the same hotel on Cracow Balice, there breakfast was impressive and here just okay. I had a feeling like in Gdańsk management is a little greedy and the prices are not different if you compare with countries much more expensive than Poland…

Bed was a little too hard, I used to be having more comfortable beds in the hotels this class. Light in the bathroom was dark, not bright enough for the toilet, example makeup, in my case putting contact lenses. On the web said about soundproof rooms. My room was like part of family room with passing doors to another room, so I heard people next door.

I was lucky to have a view to airport from my window in the evening, so I was watching aeroplanes landing and taking off. Restaurant kitchen was open until 23 o'clock. That's not mentioned anywhere in hotel information www-pages, so it was a nice suprise. Even if the hotel is newer, the restaurant furniture style is from the 1970's. For me it was OK, kind of nostalgic. Everything is in very good condition. Breakfast is standard OK. Everything very clean.

The shower cabin was not practical. A middle sized woman manages very well, but I suppose an average size man can't help showering the whole bathroom wet - because a narrow protecting "glass wall". Pillows were not comfortable, as always in hotels.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Hampton by Hilton Gdańsk Airport. We were greeted by a lovely Lady in the reception who checked us in quickly and asked for breakfast. Unfortunately our flight was very early so we said we won't be there for breakfast so she asked if we wanted it to go. We asked for one only as my Husband cannot eat gluten. We were very happy to hear that gluten free option is also available. In the morning we got to reception it was all ready and it was a really good breakfast to go thank you! Also the gentleman behind reception was really nice. Baby cot in a room was great as well it had a nice mattress for Baby with a whole bed set 👏😍 we could stay there longer than one night for sure 😁 highly recommended!

Staff is very friendly and helpful... beds are comfortable and room was very clean.

I was waiting around 10 minutes at the check-in desk to check in. There was no one around. I had to ask a lovely girl in the bar to call someone to the check-in desk. He was sitting in the office having a food, and came out still chewing. I was after arriving from Pila, where I was over to say goodbye to my dying dad, and all I wanted was to check in and go to my room as soon as possible. In saying that, this gentleman was very polite and helpful.

2 minutes walk to the airport.

There was no option to pay for a room without breakfast- so you pay for something that you don’t need. Considering that many people like us have a very early flight to catch- you pay for breakfast that you can’t have. Yes, we were given bags with packed breakfast but at 4am you don’t feel like eating it! You also can’t take the juices, yogurts and water bottles from packed breakfast through the security so all had to be thrown away.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. This hotel has great parking it offers everything that a person would need. The food and drinks are great and the price if fare as well. My stay is always a good one at this hotel.

I really don't have any complaints about this hotel or service. The one issue that I could think of is the morning breakfast is very poor and not satisfying in any fashion. I will expect more of a variety with some hot options to go.

Wonderful location if you're traveling to/from the Gdansk airport (a 2-minute walk to the terminal). Importantly, the hotel is basically at the airport yet the room was super quiet! The staff was very friendly. Nice breakfast (waffles were great) and the staff provided plant milk on request. If your flight is very early, you can ask for a takeaway breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean.

Don't order your Uber/Taxi to the hotel - it's much better to go to the terminal entrance and get your taxi/uber there. The problem is that it is very difficult for drivers to find a way to the hotel drive-in. The drivers keep getting lost between the terminal area and all the parking lots. For example, an Uber driver who was taking me to the hotel saw the building but couldn't figure out how to get me to the entrance and so he dropped me off next to the parking barrier, behind the lawn. Also, when I wanted to go to the city center, three different uber drivers canceled my trip just because they couldn't find their way to the hotel parking lot.

Proximity to the airport. Had a 6am flight so needed to be close by. This hotel is ideally placed. Most guests are just passing through so the facilities match. The hotel has a bar and restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are big, the TV's don't read USB video files suggesting there older but for a one night stay it's not expensive, has hot running water - towels absolutely could be softer - and, is about 100m from departures. I arrived at about 6pm dragging a few suitcases. Check in was quick. Happy to have to have vaccination status checked, nice to know its a safer environment. Was in my room within 5 minutes. After a 3.5hr mini bus drive to Gdansk having an onsite bar was a plus. Decent range of wines available. The menu wasn't vast but the food was good and hearty. Ribs especially good. Each staff member was quick to offer assistance as well as personable. Bar staff who served me were especially helpful and even found us toothpaste.

Age of TV. Also greater use of fabric softner on towels would definitely improve the in room experience. But the rooms are perfectly functional

I like the service at the front desk. I announce my arrival at night and the new to do a late check out the next day. All was informed in time and I managed to complete my stay as planned.

Actually I stayed in another South Hampton Hilton located close to the airport in Krakow and the price was half of this one. Sure it was earlier in the year. Anyway I feel the price for the same service should not have a large difference.

Hotel very close to the airport terminal , actually are 3 min walking . Was the main reason because I choose this hotel .

The attitude of the personal from reception : it seems like I disturbed him ! I travel a lot and I spend almost half of the year in hotels , usually the personal in hotels like this , are very pleased , friendly and always polite . Not this time at this hotel .
