Radisson Hotel & Suites, Gdansk

The Breakfast was very nice. I would like to ask the management to put a notice in the buffet area asking the clients not to pick the salad and fish with their finges when the hotel has supplied tongs for this job. I was shocked to this people touching the food in this way. In one case a man came up to the buffet salad area eating and putting his finges in his mouth then touching and moving the buffet food on display with his fingers which had just been in his mouth. I will never take breakfast in thios hotel again

Location on river perfect. Can tell the area is up and coming, lots of activities happening on the river, boat trips, kayaking etc. So many different restaurants and bars here. Hotel new, everything high standard and clean. Gdansk is perfect place to visit, especially in summer.

Our room was city view. Unfortunately there is construction work happening at the moment, new hotels being built. Our room was facing this, so at 7am we were woken up by drilling and building work. No building work on a Sunday morning though so I guess you'd be ok if just staying on a Sat night. Think id opt for river view next time if possible.

I have enjoyed my stay. Hotel is in the city center. fresh and new. modern. Bed was very confortable. you may find everything in the room, that you may need during the stay. Personal was pleasant and helpful. near the hotel you may find a lot of nice couzy restaurants with delicious food.

I was really badly surprised with the shower. Despite the hotel is new and very nice, the shower was awful - it was mold everythere. also the light was not working properly - it was blinking like in scary movie - i had to turn off the light bulb. and thw shower hanger was also broken. I’m attaching few photos.

The breakfast was lovely with a great selection of cooked and cold items. The hotel itself is finished to a high standard and the staff were incredibly helpful. It is located in a wonderful spot and it is perfect for exploring the city. There is construction work going on across the road and our room looked out onto it but it didn't impact us at all as we were out experiencing the food and culture the whole time. The pool and spa was great and we found booking in the morning was the most quiet time to visit.

For us the bed was uncomfortable but I have a back problem which makes this difficult.

The staff of Gdansk Radisson, from the initial moment my foot crossed threshold of the entrance after a trip from Dallas TX. A staff personnel from Front Desk and Security greeted me with “ how may we assist you Sir “ and that very gracious effort set the tone for 7 day visit to Radisson and your beautiful city of Gdansk. Every component of your Operational staff, Housekeeping, Reservations, Front Desk, & Restaurant were as excellent as possible. I have traveled extensively in my professional career and for leisure and this was the most delightful interaction with a world wide Hotel Corporation.

The hotel has probably the best location in the old center of Gdansk, it is part of a beautiful panorama of houses on the Motława River. It is a new facility, designed in the fashionable colors of nature. Nice receptionists went out of their way to help with anything I asked for. The room itself, perhaps a basic double, turned out to be compact but cozy and had a pretty large bathroom with shower. The spa with pool required a reservation and was a nice relaxing moment after sightseeing. Lots of good bars and restaurants within 200 meters. Only the most expensive rooms have a view of the river and the old town. The views are amazing.

The sleeping comfort was not ideal. The linen felt like a synthetic material. The air conditioning / ventilation was too loud making it difficult to fall asleep. Even when turned off completely, a humming noise was heard. The air was dry. The lifeguard at the pool definitely lacks courtesy and good manners (evening 10/10/2021).

Location is amazing. Room was nice and big. Enjoyed the pool. Room had very dark curtains which was great to sleep with a baby as it didnt get bright as early. Has private parking in the basement. Not noisy

The room was very warm; air condition was broken…. but we got new rooms soon. i asked for a second time that spa should have handles for people who has difficulties with mobility, but nothing has happened yet…

The best location in the old town. Despite of the crowd or the construction site next to it, the room was silent. Our room was big as was the bathroom - very comfortable. Excellent breakfast including many options, also the warm dishes ordered separately, nice start for a day!

The staff was polite, some of them was not so fluent in English, but they tried their best and things always got sorted. Only thing disappointing was the spare bed of our room. Our 16 year old son was quite long for that sofa bed and it also was quite noisy when moving while sleeping. Of course it would have been also nice to have a room on a riverside instead of a construction site, but I do understand this is a choice with a price.

The toilet in room 4149 is way to close to the zink. A normally sized person does not fit without having to sit half-sideways on the toilet. This has to get fixed. I miss oatmilk as an option for breakfast. No one uses soymilk anymore, now that there are so many good brands of oatmilk/oat-barista available. It also works much better with cerials than soymilk. It would also be nice with some vegan sliced "meat" for the breakfast. Croissants are dry and borring. The buttons for "water action" around the swimmingpool area needs fixing. They are very hard to press down. Almost impossible for children. Disappointing that the bar could not make a Russian Mule. The staff claiming they did not have ginger beer. What bar In 2023 does not have ginger beer ready for making drinks?
