Mercure Bydgoszcz Sepia

Great location at the historic center. The room was large and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet at night. Tea-making facilities in the room was good to have. Staff was polite and pleasant. We took the breakfast at the hotel once; it was quite good, though somewhat overpriced compared to what you can get in the cafes in the city. Parking was available.

Parking was convenient, but somewhat expensive (65 PLN per night). The WiFi was somewhat weak; we were there on a short leisure trip, thus it wasn’t a problem for us, but could be for those on a business trip. May depend on the room though.

I had originally booked a different hotel ,however due to the really hot weather we upgraded to Mecure primarily for the A/C and it was worth every penny , the hotel is well located some 20 mins walk from main rail station but there are tram stops taxi etc . across the street from old town area , very modern in feel and design very quiet hard to tell if there are other guests most of the time , friendly staff and the place is cleaned to a high standard . The a/c I booked for was very effective as both myself and wife struggle with the heat especially at night , there is a hot water kettle with supplies each day and also bottled water and a mini fridge all in all great with one exception WI FI bad signal .Breakfast is outstanding hot /cold items to many to mention , you can opt in or out of cleaning etc as suits but we found the staff did a great job .

Other than poor wi fi reception in the room it was a great place , it worked very well downstairs but in the room it was difficult to maintain a signal , same was true of the tv most channels are in Polish but you tube could be accessed but very weak and would drop out .

Big room, comfy beds air-conditioned which was important as temperatures outside above 30 degrees. Is in the town centre 3 min walk from Old Town

Cleaning service not great. We wanted our room to be cleaned . When we came back only our shower was cleaned and towels were changed. They didn't wash our glasses and coffee cups, we found them dirty. ( photos attached) For 4☆ hotel not good sign. At the gym in the morning air-conditioning didn't work .

Great location, a 15 minute walk from Bydgoszcz Glowny. A 10 minute walk from the square. Room was comfortable and has a room safe and bathroom is well equipped with a good shower. Allowed us to check in early for a charge of 10zl per extra hour. Unfortunately we couldn't check out later but if you are able to again it costs 10zl per extra hour.

Room and carpet felt a little dated and for that we can only give a 9 out of 10. Apart from that it's a great hotel.

Excellent location - Nowa Opera tram-stops 200 metres away and Plac Teatralny stop for going into the centre almost directly opposite the hotel. The original exterior of the building has been retained, but I was unprepared for and very impressed by the modern extensions/conversion at the back. This is a very modern, and nicely decorated hotel with spacious and quiet rooms. I did not dine at all so cannot comment on such facilities, but the restaurant seemed to be light and airy. I would certainly - at the right price - stay here again and thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Really can't think of anything significant, but the coffee cups were rather small and the drinks sachets provided minimalist, though there was a good choice.

An extremely comfortable hotel in a terrific location - rooms were spacious, modern and the bed was excellent. There was a nice bar area and the restaurant served great food. I used room service on two of the nights and it was superb - tasty food served piping hot.

Music started playing on the patio outside from 05:30 - not necessary or acceptable at that time.

rather confused about finishing time for breakfast, it stated 10 am. We went to dining room at 9:50, were enjoying our breakfast and one of the staff came to our table to say they had finished SERVING at 10. So we had to rush having the remainder of breakfast! Also the waitress could have said all this with a smile on her face - smiles at breakfast time by staff was in short supply that morning!!

The location was good - close to the main square and old mill area. Room was a good size with very comfortable beds and excellent blackout curtains. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, the receptionists, bar staff and breakfast staff were all great. Hotel was modern looking with nice artwork and a welcoming bar area for a nightcap. For the price this hotel is excellent value and I would happily stay here again.

Very good location, close to Opera Nova and Mill Island, but hidden from the road by another building, so completely quiet. Old town and ul. Gdanska are only a few steps away. Private parking in the courtyard (rotary carousel). Spacious room and bathroom, very clean. Breakfast also was good.

Nothing really. Just pillows weren't my favourite. I think I could have asked for other type, but I didn't. Towels for shower a bit small.

The location is perfect. 5mins walk from Mill Island/old town. The famous Manekin restaurant is just next door. Im definitely coming back next year for the Enea Bydgoszcz Triathlon competition and staying in this hotel. The service was exceptional!! Would definitely send a friend there.
