Holiday Inn Bydgoszcz, an IHG Hotel

The room which was finally allocated to me was excellent. However, at the beginning there was some confusion. The staff member tried to allocate a different room, from the one I was promised, I can't understand why, but it was sad to see that he tired to demonstrate as if the key was not working. This was an unfortunate incident, especially after being with this hotel for years. However, the next day with the help of the management, I was finally given a much better room.

I noticed staff at the front desk is very helpful to every guest. In our case the parking was full due to the unusual peak (wedding) - the front desk guy went down, found place (informal but possible to park), waited at the entrance gate and guided us to that place. That was so pleasant to experience! Rooms are clean and I like the statement in the bathroom that in case we forgot something home they will have complimentary option to provide --- did not use it but good to know. Very close to the city centre - just 5 min walk and and you are on the main square. This is also the reason we did not choose the breakfast option as I like to experience local caffe or bistro to have a nice long brunch.

Bar is open till the 10pm only :) ... small surprise but no worries, plenty of them ouetside around the corner

The hotel has a great location - close to the old town and a lot of restaurants, a good breakfast and the possibility to bring your dog with you.

There is a very small car park, for which you have to pay extra, so the overall value for money is quite high. The hotel is good, but a bit run down, so the price around €120 per night seems rather high for Bydgoszcz.

Customer attention was very kind. The hotel is classy, and the rooms are quite comfortable, with well-equipped bathrooms. The location is excellent, nearby the very centre of Bydgoszcz.

Absolutely no issues to declare regarding the facilities or the service. The only point was quite an overinflated price of over 200€ per night.

Knew it was going to be decent when the receptionist was very friendly and gave me and upgrade and a complimentary bowl of fruit. I was very hungry after a long day travelling and it was most welcome. The room was superb, very large with an excellent bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Had a beer in the bar which was good and all in all a really good overnight stay. Very close to lovely restaurants and bars.

Hotel is clean, staff is very nice, breakfast is good and there is a choice of food, I could sleep very well, because windows don't get any noise from the street inside the room. Location is perfect: it's close to the center.

Sink is not comfortable. You get wet when you wash hands or face. Probably, it's for taller people than me :)

Neat and spacious rooms with a great view. Very nice and helpful staff members. Great location with walking distance to Stary Rynek and restaurants .

There was holes in the bed linen, which made them seem old and very used. I personally found the pillows to be a bit too flat but that might just be a personal issue.

We were very happy with the extremely comfortable bed. The room was quite spacious and we appreciated the fact you could have a cup of coffee/tea in the room and that there was an iron with an ironing board easily available. The location is excellent. The room was quiet (we stayed at the top floor) and we didn't hear anything from the party downstairs. Also the staff was very helpful and supported us with changing the initial reservation or fixing some small things.

There's a parking fee, but if you come during the weekend you can park for free next to the hotel.

The parking space at the main entfance of the hotel has a minim space to park the car to register at the reception.

The price for parking is extremely high. The hotel’s restaurant does not have a variety of meals. Around 8:00 pm the restaurant does not serve meals.

The hotel was everything it should be. The only improvement might be wider duvets as they only just cover the albeit wide bed.

Excellent location, clean modern hotel, efficient friendly staff. Bar/restaurant is lovely environment for a meal and the food was a good standard. Good range of local craft beers
