Last Frontier Beach Resort-Adults Only

The hotel area is a beautiful tropical garden well kept while the swimming pool and hotel restaurant located just 1m from the crong crong beach. From the restaurants and swimming pool you can be amazed by El Nido's stunning sunset which were my favorite attraction. Stuff is very nice and welcoming and rooms are big and pleasant.

Resort was beautiful with lovely landscaped gardens and a nice pool area. Staff were great. Food was very good. Room was spacious. The staff organised tours and a rental vehicle for us and were very helpful

Unfortunately it rained a lot and the beach was very dirty with a lot of rubbish and seaweed. It might be better in the dry season. However it was not a good swimming beach at that time. Our balcony was very slippery due to the rain and wind. The stormy weather meant that the island hopping tours did not run for three days but that is not the fault of the resort. However consider this if booking in the monsoon season.

Adults only - so nice to not have kids in the way!!! The venue was nice and quiet with very attentive staff. The pool area and happy hour was an absolute vibe - esp watching the sun go down in the afternoons. The rooms are comfortable and the aircon was a bonus! Wifi available throughout the whole facility - should have tried to disconnect but oh well. Breakfast in the morning was relaxing and easy going, perfect start to the day. Short walk to the tricycles who were easy to communicate with and happily got us to our desired destination. Short walk to some cool restaurants like No Mames, Lion and Therys! Must check em out.

Mosquitoes - unavoidable. Low tide at the beach in the day, so beach not swimmable. "Sellers" badgering to buy things from them.

I had a lovely few days at the Last Frontier. The staff are fantastic and so helpful. The location was great, with easy access for beachfront restaurants and tours. The view from the pool was beautiful. I did happy hour everyday whilst watching the sunset on the bean bag chairs out the front. I would definitely recommend this small hotel.

The only thing that let it down was the bathroom in my standard room had a very bad smell (rotting water/mould). I did ask if their air freshener could be refilled as it didn’t seem to be emitting anything when it was working, but I don’t think this was done. You’re in the bathroom for such a small proportion of the time that it didn’t have that much of an impact, but did detract a bit from the experience when in the room. The wifi was poor in my room.

Fantastic staff (like really really lovely and helpful). Beautiful territory and nice rooms. Great food & breakfasts. Lovely pool & location right on the beach. One of the best places we've stayed, and would love to come again one day.

The WiFi system was the most frustrating of any I've ever used. The system doesn't remember your devices, so you need to relogin like 10 times every day (typing both login and password). So annoying and unnecessary! And so incongruent with the otherwise incredible stay we had here.

This place is amazing. It started from the reception, very friendly staff. When we got to our room we were blown away about how our room was presented. The views from our room was superb and the sunsets amazing. The bar had a nice atmosphere and the food was great. The location is great as it's not far from island hoping tours,restaurants and other beaches. We spent valentine's day there and after sight seeing came back to our room which our bed was beautifully decorated. Without will be returning back here.

If I was to be picky the verandah could maybe have a small fan mounted on each side as it's warm in the afternoon. The only other thing is having a drink or a feed on the water front you always get people trying to sell stuff.

The room (number 8, the first one - away from the pool - on the right looking at pictures here on TripAdvisor) was amazing: very big, comfortable, and clean. The food was super tasty, we had breakfast included and they came up with 5 options each one including coffee or tea and fresh juice. The staff, particularly Diana (she is the best), was very welcoming and always available at any request (they booked our boat trip, borrowed mask, fins and the kayak, and gave us advice to stroll around El Nido). Also, the pool zone was really cute and very comfortable (the puffs, after a long day of swimming, were the best thing ever).

We liked everything, there were no negatives to point out.

I spent my birthday at Last Frontier Beach Resort and I have nothing but good words. The lush garden, the beach-front location, the excellent staff, delicious food at the restaurant and the spacious rooms were the highlights of our stay. As if my stay isn't pleasurable enough, the staff went the extra mile and prepared a birthday breakfast and even surprised me with balloons and birthday cake when we came back to our room after our tour. Such a sweet gesture that I won't ever forget. Other resorts should take note on how hospitality should be.

The slow wifi but it's an El Nido thing so I couldn't really hold it against the resort.

We loved our stay here at the Last Frontier. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They helped us book out tours as well as our ride back to Puerto Princessa. The location was beautiful. We enjoyed having breakfast next to the water every morning. It was nice being able to walk on the beach after dinner as well. The bungalows are well equipped and they were so sweet to decorate our room for our anniversary. My phone got wet and they were nice enough to give me a bowl of rice to help take the moisture out. The food was delicious. We will definitely come back again soon.

We can't think of anything we didn't like about this hotel. Everything was great.

One of the best places to stay when visiting El Nido/Corong-corong. Staff were super friendly and professional, and would bring towels everytime we went to the pool or were going on our tour. Location is amongst the best in Corong-corong. Sunset view from the pool area is priceless.

I would book tours elsewhere.We booked a tour of the Bacuit bay (tour A) through the hotel and it wasn't great. Instead of booking one of the ones that leave from the beche on the front of the hotel we had to take a tricycle to El Nido. The driver was late, and all the process until getting on the boat was very messy. At the return there was no one there to drive us back.
